QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

True legal protection of human life requires the government to fully fund child support and senior care so no American lives in financial anxiety. If an individual does not wish to carry a pregnancy, we must provide a heavily funded, deeply supportive foster care system alongside Universal Basic Income (UBI) for all Americans. Ultimately, children and seniors should live in a moneyless society where all essential needs are unconditionally guaranteed including food, housing, and caregiving.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

Human embryos should be protected. Scientific testing and innovation should be restricted to animals, unless a specific procedure directly creates life-saving medical support for other living humans.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Healthcare decisions should be private choices made by individuals in consultation with their doctors, completely free from government interference but we should encourage keeping the child because we provide a fully funded foster care system that gives more benefits and support over the life of the child.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Federal funding for organizations like Planned Parenthood ensures millions of Americans have access to vital healthcare, including cancer screenings, preventative care, and family planning. Abortion should be treated as a last resort to save the life of the mother, with children otherwise being born into a fully funded, compassionate foster system.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Disagree

Relying on a 19th-century law to restrict modern, FDA-approved medication delivered through the mail is a dangerous federal overreach that harms patient safety and restricts essential healthcare access.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

A thriving free market drives innovation, but it functions best when paired with robust worker protections, fair market competition, and aggressive investments in our community infrastructure. To secure a stable future, we must implement a Universal Basic Income (UBI) system funded by AI and automation to guarantee everyone's basic needs are met alongside a powerful social safety net.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Strongly Agree

We must establish a fairer tax system where corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay their legitimate share to lift the burden from working families. My long-term economic vision is to eliminate income taxes completely for anyone making less than $100,000, replacing that burden with UBI checks to directly support everyday living standards. All of our basic needs should be met so that we are not forced into working without power, we should be able to fight for better conditions.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

However, spending cuts should target waste, fraud, and inefficient defense procurement rather than dismantling social safety nets like Social Security, Medicare, or housing assistance. We should cut back overall military hardware spending and increase direct pay for soldiers; millions of dollars shouldn't be wasted on tanks and aircraft sitting idle in fields. The government should work for the American people, not corporations and the military industry complex.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

We must audit and streamline federal defense procurement contracts to stop corporate price-gouging. We must remove predatory, private insurance middle-men that price-gouge Americans and replace them with an efficient Medicare-for-All system. We need to upgrade outdated federal IT systems to dramatically reduce administrative overhead and fraud, while improving inter-agency data sharing to quickly eliminate duplicate bureaucratic programs. We must end corporate welfare.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Agree

Businesses operating in the public square must adhere to non-discrimination laws to ensure all community members enjoy equal access to commerce and services. An individual's private life is private, but public business practices must remain fair and equal. Religion should be a home or community practice, not a business or government one.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means protecting both government and religion from mutual interference. It guarantees that the state cannot establish, mandate, or favor any religion, ensuring true religious freedom for all Americans to practice their faith or no faith without government meddling.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (I fully support a single-payer "Medicare-for-All" system to remove commercial profit motives from human health).

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Patient privacy must be fiercely protected. Financial analysis of healthcare systems should rely solely on anonymized, aggregated data. As a disabled person, I strongly oppose a centralized database of medical diagnoses, as history shows these frameworks are fundamentally how eugenics movements take root.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. (We must prioritize domestic well-being and shift away from costly foreign interventions).

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Disagree

As we transition into an era dominated by automation, China should be one of our strongest global allies. We should actively collaborate to design mixed economic systems that benefit future generations worldwide, while maintaining robust, independent defensive frameworks to protect ourselves from direct military and cyber attacks.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

No. The current actions of the Israeli government threaten the stability of the entire Middle East, and ongoing genocidal actions inflict severe regional harm. Left unchecked, this relationship risks escalating into World War III and decimating the global economy.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Disagree

The primary driver of state-sponsored terror and instability in that region is Israel, which should be completely defunded and removed from our foreign policy priorities. Our government needs to operate on an "America First, Not Israel First" platform.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Everyone. We need a completely open, fair, efficient, and humane immigration system. This includes expanding legal pathways for work visas, streamlining the asylum process to rapidly clear historic backlogs, and creating an earned pathway to legal status for long-term undocumented residents who pass baseline background checks.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Agree

Local law enforcement resources belong on community safety and investigating violent crime, not acting as an arm of federal immigration enforcement. Forcing local police into immigration enforcement destroys trust and discourages immigrant communities from reporting crimes.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Disagree

The Department of Education plays an indispensable role in safeguarding civil rights, administering federal student aid, and ensuring equitable funding for low-income districts and disabled students.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

While international academic collaboration is valuable, we need strict transparency laws and restrictions to prevent foreign adversaries from exerting undue influence over American K-12 or higher education institutions.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Disagree

Healthcare decisions for youth should be guided by evidence-based medical standards, experienced doctors, and parents, not dictated by political mandates.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Disagree

I firmly support marriage equality and the federal protections established under the Respect for Marriage Act. Legal marriage rights must extend to all loving couples. Marriage is not only religiously practiced but practiced by non-religious people.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My values are deeply rooted in service, empathy, and community responsibility. Whether serving on housing land trusts or working directly in our public schools as a special education paraeducator, I believe our highest calling is to support one another, protect the vulnerable, and ensure everyone has the opportunity to thrive. I believe in Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Agree

Here in Washington State, our secure, vote-by-mail system proves that signature verification and robust voter registration records maintain high election security while ensuring maximum accessibility for working people, seniors, disabled people, and rural voters.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Disagree

I support comprehensive anti-discrimination policies that protect LGBTQ+ individuals. Sports governing bodies and local institutions are fully capable of creating thoughtful, inclusive guidelines without sweeping, discriminatory federal bans. Let the local communities decide. For example, the Special Olympics operates successfully as a genderless environment where we all play on the same teams.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

We must expand investments in wind, solar, advanced grid storage, and next-generation nuclear technology to build a clean, resilient, and independent energy future. We should also aggressively position Washington to sell our surplus clean power.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Liberal

Progressive Democratic Socialist. My platform blends an unyielding commitment to civil liberties, accessibility, and disability advocacy with a transformative economic framework. I champion a single-payer healthcare system, an automation-funded Universal Basic Income, and a non-interventionist, anti-imperialist foreign policy that focuses American resources back onto human needs at home, while firmly defending baseline constitutional freedoms like the Second Amendment.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

We must hold major technology platforms accountable by enforcing strict age-verification standards, implementing privacy-by-default settings for minors, and giving law enforcement the tools to track and prosecute bad actors online.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I explicitly oppose banning any specific type of firearm; law-abiding citizens should have the complete freedom to purchase what they want. Furthermore, I believe that if any tracking database is created to monitor firearm transactions, it must protect individual identity by utilizing anonymized ID numbers tied back to secure documentation at the point of sale, rather than maintaining an open registry of citizens' names. We should have more gun safety training and an anonymous database.
