OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I am satisfied with current Missouri law that allows for a "life of the mother" exception and addresses ectopic pregnancies and miscarriage procedures. I believe life begins at conception and elective abortions should not be allowed in our state.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

I do not believe they should be allowed, but, if they ARE allowed, they should absolutely meet safety standards.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Did not answer

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

Absolutely not!

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C - Medicaid should be heavily policed so there is no abuse of those funds. Citizens have paid into Medicare for many years prior to signing up and receiving benefits, so it should stay in place to help our seniors. All other health insurance should be allowed to compete freely and across state lines.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I believe in medical freedom. Limiting a person's movements/freedoms based on their vaccine status is unacceptable.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Absolutely. We MUST stand with Israel as a strong ally.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We need to finish building the wall and have strongly guarded points of entry only. True asylum seekers and people who want to come to the United States LEGALLY are welcome, but not those who seek to destroy us. The millions of illegals who have come across our borders in the last four years need to be deported.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Agree

I am not opposed to school choice at all; however, I did not care for the bill that was passed. With 22 topics covered, it was a mixture of good and bad. I do not want to see homeschools and private/Christian schools be put under DESE control. I think there should always be a good option outside of schools that are government-controlled due to funding.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

God made each of us exactly as HE wanted us. It is only a depraved society that would teach our children they aren't what God made them to be. Human anatomy speaks plainly to what gender a person is. The indoctrination/brainwashing, hormones, surgeries, etc on our children must stop.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

I agree, except in the cases where they are making life-altering decisions, such as sex-change surgeries and hormones. Children must be protected from those types of abuses.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am an active Christian who knows the importance of a personal walk with Christ. I try to be bold in my faith and exemplify Christ-like qualities in my interaction with other people. It is ONLY through Jesus that we have the promise of eternal life in heaven. My husband and I have raised our children to know Christ and they are both happily married and active in their churches, as well. I believe Christian families with a strong spiritual leader are one of the main keys to rebuilding the moral fiber of our country. But, I believe those kinds of family units have been under attack for several decades. As a country, we must sincerely repent and turn back to God before he is going to heal our land.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I am in favor of Photo ID, same-day voting (absentee only for valid reasons), paper ballots, and hand-counting when it comes to our elections. We need to be POSITIVE that our elections are secure, no matter what it takes.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

I believe in the Electoral College process and it should not be changed.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Did not answer

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

Did not answer

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Did not answer

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Law enforcement should be very well supported and funds should be available for maintenance, growth, and training within the law enforcement departments. I strongly support law enforcement and would not vote to redirect funds from them.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None-Our Second Amendment says that the peoples' right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I believe that it means what it says, and it does not have a list of exceptions to that right. I also do not believe there should be a registration system for our firearms. Our judicial system needs to be tough on people who break the law using a firearm, so it acts as a deterrent. Also, I do not believe that any special taxes or regulations should be placed on ammunition or reloading supplies.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Unfortunately, in our society, there is a need for protection within our schools and classrooms. I believe well-trained staff should be allowed to carry guns to protect themselves and their students. No teacher or staff member should be required to do so if they do not feel comfortable doing so, however.
