QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Abortion should never be considered an elective procedure - it should be limited to those instances where the life of the mother is in jeopardy.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Abortion drugs cannot meet these essential safety standards in almost all cases, however, as they are used to terminate an otherwise healthy human life.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on the minimum wage?
The minimum wage is a poor substitute for the free market determining wages. The minimum wage should be eliminated and companies should have make wage determinations themselves based on the local market demands.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None. The government should allow for the free exercise of religion afforded to us in the United States Constitution.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
My values most closely align with C but I believe both Medicare and Medicaid require reforms to lessen the cost burden for both the individuals on those programs but also for the taxpayers.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Under no circumstances should a vaccine be required
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, Israel has long been an important ally the the United States within the Middle East but also it is our commitment as a Nation founded on Judeo-Christian values to support Israel as God blesses those who bless Israel and as they help in the preservation of Christian holy sites from those who seek to destroy Christianity.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
A country cannot exist without borders. We need to complete the wall along our southern border and ensure that those coming to our country are properly vetted.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
I strongly support school choice and using free market principals to hold schools accountable for meeting their student's/community's needs. If a parent chooses to enroll their child in a private school or homeschool them we need to ensure those dollars flow back to the parent first rather than directly to the school in question to avoid any strings that might come to the school from taking direct government money.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that humans are flawed individuals who are redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Without the guiding light of our Lord we would be lost in this world but God speaks to us - through his word and his actions - and we must seek out his guidance as we act, especially those of us who are called to serve our community.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism has no place in our modern society. Our domestic security is threatened not by any systemic racism but by the actions of individuals whom seek to create division or through divisive theories like CRT which seek to create racial divides within our country for the purposes of destroying our core values and ending our great American experiment.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is a Marxist ideology meant to create division and destroy our Republic and is a failed model for improving the livelihood of any racial group. CRT and other associated critical theories such as Crtical Gender Theory have no place in our corporate governance structures, government policies, or schools.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
I agree with A and C. Oklahoma needs to lead the way in energy with an "all of the above" approach that uses our natural resources without creating reliance on foreign (and often hostile) nations. Government overregulation has put our country at a disadvantage and national security risk while empowering our enemies.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Our ability to power America through fossil fuels has proven to be highly reliable. However I believe it is always good to keep a diversified portfolio of proven energy resources at our disposal to ensure the lights don't go out.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The purpose of our government, and the limitations of said government, are clearly outlined in our constitution. The government is here to establish justice through an unbiased judiciary, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare in those instances enumerated to the government, and secure the blessings of liberty. These values are under assault and we must step up and ensure we return to the limited government our founders created.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Disagree
Our police departments play a key role in developing safe communities but it is the duty of everyday citizens to come together and work to build community programs that will help people both young and old find value in themselves. The best ways to reduce crime will be through ensuring people have quality educations and ensuring that faith is a central part of their lives so that they can see their god-given potential and the value they have in the eyes of the Lord.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The 2nd Amendment is clear that the right to bears arms shall not be infringed. I believe in our Constitutional Carry laws here in Oklahoma but there is still work to be done in removing "gun-free zones" which only incentive criminal activity and invest in gun safety courses so that our citizens do not fear guns but instead understand their purpose and how to use them if necessary.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
