QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
When the life of the mother is a factor
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Choose not to answer
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
A market based economy is essential to a free market societies success.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
The minimum wage is basically obsolete for full time employers due to the Affordable Care Act and wages are best determined by market factors.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
ESG should be prohibited as a factor to invest public monies. Market based returns should direct capital.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never, our rights come from God not Government.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
A small business's religious beliefs should be honored. A person can take their business elsewhere. A market based economy will select the winners and losers based on voting with their feet or their capital.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C - It would be too difficult to unwind government funded health at this time. Private Health Care is always the best path as it is the more efficient use of capital and does not put government between the patient and doctors relationship.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Vaccinations should be based on the individual and their doctors decision. A mandate from government gets in the way of the a person's Health Freedom which we all should have.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
China is a communist regime that wants to control the world. We are their biggest rival. They are the greatest threat to global freedom in the world.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, Israel is our one of our strongest allies. I do wish the war going on now would end. We need strong leadership for peace before it spills into a regional war or worse.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
A nation with no border is not a country. Our Federal Government's first job is to protect their citizens not people from other countries. We must take care our our citizens first. It is like putting on your oxygen mask on a plane first, before you help anyone else.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
A parent should have the ability to chose the school or form of education that they want for their child and their tax dollars should go with them.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Agree
Until a child is 18 and considered an adult their should be no bodily changes done. As an adult they can make their on decisions. The sexualization of children has always been illegal until recently. Children go through many maturity changes as they grow and should be protected by society.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Agree
A parent is responsible for raising their child unless they break the law.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
This is an elective surgery and government should not be involved.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
As a Christian marriage is between a man and a woman. This does not mean I am against same sex marriage because a consenting adult should have the right to make their own decisions towards their happiness. We all have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. My values reflect a strong relation with God, a devotion to my family, and then towards to co-works at the company I own. I believe if we follow the teachings of the Bible and our Constitution, we will be successful in life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Having a system of voter integrity means that everyone's vote counts. Only citizens should be able to vote in this country. An ID is easy to get and we require an ID for so many other things that this should be common sense.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Disagree
The Electoral College was a mechanism set up to make sure large states did not dominate smaller states. The current system should not be changed.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, there will always be some racism but it is not an issue that I have seen anywhere in my daily life.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is fundamentally flawed, and is meant to create more division in this country. Now is the time to come together regardless of race to protect our freedom.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
This is common sense. Women will get injured and this completely goes against equal rights. This would destroy women's sports. Create a trans league if needed but do not destroy women's sports.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
There should be a mix of energy sources that meet the demands of citizens and a growing economy. We should not have Federal Government agencies creating policies but require laws where our economy is involved.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Government should be kept local as much as possible, and the less government the better.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Ultimately my views follow the Constitution of the United States and a Christian view of the world. All issues needed to respect the individuals personal freedoms first.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
We must have strong and well trained police departments to keep our communities safe.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The second amendment to the constitution must be followed to protect our Republic. Common sense measures should be explored but everyone must be able to defend themselves and their families.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Teaches should have the right to have guns in secured areas, if they choose.
