RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
The life of the mother, which makes it more of a medical necessity rather than elective. The term "elective" makes it sound like it is merely a choice, like choosing between vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Abortions should not be allowed for mere choice of convenience, but only when the life of the mother is medically and clinically seriously threatened. The "health of the mother" is not sufficient.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

This again shows a disrespect for life, that is made in the image of God. See Genesis 9:6. We should not take the life of a person at any age because they are created in God's image.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Free enterprise and ownership of private property helps keep us free and governments reach should be restricted by our constitution to protect our God-given rights. when we have a free economy the people in that economy are free. See Milton Friedman's, "Free to Choose."
What is your position on the minimum wage?
it is an arbitrary amount placed by the government upon companies and their workers. The market can and will dictate the best rates apart from government mandates. This was seen during Covid when fast food eating places were paying $20/hour.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
ESG is a frightening example of tyranny based upon philosophical beliefs and must be rooted out of society if we are to remain free. This ESG further will become a criteria for all investing, to the detriment of investors of all sizes if government does prevent such nonsense. Return on investment along with trust in the company should be criteria for public investment.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Government should not close churches. the First Amendment's free exercise and freedom of association allow churches to meet. there is no reasonable criteria to use for a government to close a church. If church members were killing people, you could arrest those members but should not close the church.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Religious expression and convictions about of conscious allow a person to not perform certain acts or participate in weddings, etc. if it violates their beliefs. The Hobby Lobby Supreme Court case, which I filed a friend of the court brief, further established that businesses also have First Amendment rights, including religious freedom and exercise.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Medical decisions and treatment are protected as confidential by federal and state law. HIPAA. Nobody should be able to dictate or require vaccinations of any kind. I helped healthcare workers get religious exemptions to Covid vaccines w/o charge.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. Israel is the only semblance of democracy in the Middle East. they have free elections and many freedoms that are similar to the USA. No other country nearby has such freedoms. Also, they are vital from a military relationship. Finally, the Bible says he will bless those who bless thee and curse those who curse Israel. We are harming our nation if we do not stand with them. Further, Israel helps the world fight terrorism like Hamas every day.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

we should arrest and deport all who cross illegally. we should build a wall to help stop invaders of our country like the Great Wall of China.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

We homeschooled our children until about Jr. High and High School grades and then put them in a Christian School. When we chose these forms of educating our children, we saved the state of Utah thousands of dollars a year. those dollars should flow back to the child and his or her family. the state should not get a windfall from homeschooled and private schooled families.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Gender confusion is not only a form of irrationality, it is very harmful to allow it to flourish in children. Many children face difficult times and are confused about a great number of issues and who they are and who they should be. we make their job 100 times harder by affirming nonsense about gender confusion. God made man, male and female and that is what we are. we insult God and spit in His face by pretending there are other genders and it is especially hideous to pretend otherwise.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Parents should make all decision, but should not be able to cut off body parts or otherwise physically abuse children. "Gender affirming surgeries" for minors is a form of child abuse that should be prohibited.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Such "services" should be prohibited as harmful to a child. there are 2 genders, male and female, it is harmful to a child to pretend that a boy is a girl or a girl is a boy. we used to call that mental illness.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was not raised in a great home, but by God's Grace, my mom introduced me to Jesus at a very early age and I began praying to Him. By 9th grade I had a desire to read the Bible daily and grew close to Jesus and have trusted Him as my only Savior and Lord. I wanted to go far away from home to college and went to Wheaton College, which was simply amazing being around Christian community with similar values and interests and beliefs. I decided I wanted to become a Lawyer and serve God in that way. All that I am is derived from my relationship with Jesus. I draw closer to Him by reading His Word and fellowshipping with other believers. the Bible has rooted me in how I should live and think and react to people and that is where my values

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is part of our nation turning its back on God. the More we reject God, the more we will become violent and racist. Right now, perceived racism is leading to great unrest and violence.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Title IX is supposed to protect women and girls. allowing bio men, or men. to conpete with women or be treated in any way as women is harmful to women and girls and should never be allowed. no exceptions should ever be allowed. I don't think the women and girls really care if they have T-blockers, they don't want it and its not fair.

C. Environmental laws are subjective. Biden shutting down the oil pipeline to stop suing gas, required the US to use the dirtiest gas and oil from other countries, that are hostile to the US. it did not help the environment but was playing a game that undermined our national and domestic interests.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To defend our boarders and to punish lawbreakers and evil people. the Constitution seeks to limit government so as to not intrude on our God-given rights. The Government should not be involved in things like healthcare, education, and promoting immoral lifestyles and abortion.

Very Conservative
the Bible is my constant in life that compels me to look at the world as more conservative. I have also read some great books in my past, like Milton Friedman's "Free to Choose" which affected my thinking to a great degree. More modern books like Candace Owens "Blackout" reminds me of Free to Choose.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Police need to arrest and prosecute criminals. that is their primary duty.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
We do not need restrictions on gun ownership, just on illegal use of guns.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Several teachers have prevented mass shootings in this country because they carried guns to school. I want well trained teachers to carry guns.
