What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Government should provide funding to public education Pre K to 12th grade. After graduation family should pay for additional education. My family could not afford to pay for my education. I chose to join military and my education was completely paid by government for serving my country. There are also many scholarships available for students to apply for college assistance. Students can also get a part time job to pay for higher education.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Agree
I believe the funds that are used by the U.S, Department of Education could be better spent by sending the money directly back to school districts so that the education of our students can be greatly improved.
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
