OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE*

*Additional information was received after the evaluation was assigned and was not considered in the Panel Evaluations, therefore it is for additional educational purposes only.
RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

They should notify the parents or guardian and if the student does not want them involved then there should be choices besides simply planned parent hood ie First Choice pregnancy etc

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

I think it has a place but the 6.2 billion dollars does not seem to be getting the job done. I don’t think more money is the answer. Im in favor of student choice system and prefer the money to follow the child in their student choice. Im all for a base but money alone does not seem like the correct solution because money is not the problem.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.

Strongly Disagree

Separation of church and state does not mean we should not have church in our state it simply meant to separate state from church. These are not the same.

At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.

Strongly Agree

First amendment. Any student can speak about their religion

Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

There are always exceptions therefore apply for religious exemption etc

NATIONAL SECURITY

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

It’s important in a sense but many other countries are important as well.

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Neutral

A strong military is one aspect and mutual respect is a must but not out of intimidation but rather respect and desire to do good in this world. The golden rule treat others as you would want to be treated.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I think this is essential. In favor of revamping and home school pods. It begins in our homes and then our communities.

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

This is a must imo

Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.

Opt in

Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Disagree

I think there is a place for this but it’s not the majority of students and should be handled case by case

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

Civics, mathematics, science, language arts, physical fitness, American history, art and music, foreign language, information technology, social emotional learning and vocational learning, personal finances political activism, gender identity to some extent. These are all important. I feel school should center on reading, arithmetic and language studies including foreign Ie Spanish etc Ban critical race theory

VALUES

Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming including drag shows, explicit materials in schools and libraries, and other public venues.

Strongly Agree

Marriage between one man and one woman and the families they form are the foundation of civilization and are fundamental to the well-being and prosperity of society.

Strongly Agree

No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.

Neutral

I feel students under the age of 18 need parental involvement with doctors schools etc

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am Christian and believe love your God and love one another

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Strongly Disagree

I support diversity and inclusion but not the Marxist idea DEI. I SUPPORT the golden rule

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

2020 General Election 2022 Republican Primary 2022 General Election

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

2ND AMENDMENT

Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.

Agree

I think this could help deter. Metal detectors etc.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?

Parents and students can opt out of vaccines. The sheer amount of child vaccines in the 70s where as when I was growing up was in the teens. Parents and kids should be allowed to opt out and I’m in favor of further discussion requiring bare minimum. Certainly not covid vaccine etc
