OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Elective abortions should not be "allowed." I believe that the government should not prosecute for murder earlier than the detectable fetal heartbeat. Prosecution earlier than the fetal heartbeat risks abuses of the law with targeted fragmentation of family units and our wives and daughters being prosecuted for using birth control. Families faced with difficult circumstances should always ask God for guidance in doing the right thing.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Agree

Any drug developed should meet essential safety standards. Whether the drug should exist or not is a different question. I don't think that the state should regulate the existence of pharmaceuticals. Illicit use should be addressed under criminal law such as homicide in the case of abortions.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and families should never have 'aid in dying' proposed to them or advocated by any professional service provider.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Minimum wage standards should be revoked.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

This question brings to mind wedding planners and similar businesses who do not want to provide service to marriage structures that do not align with their religious beliefs (such as homosexual, or polygamic marriages). In this case the service provided is not life-sustaining and is connected with the providers brand and the provider should have every right to decline to provide the service.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D) ...but it should be phased out, grandfathered, and/or privatized accordingly to avoid creating sudden have-nots.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Military only for deployments into regions where there is a known and specific biological threat and only for vaccines which are approved and fully tested - not emergency use authorizations. No other valid circumstance comes to mind.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. The United States' relationship with each foreign nation is important. Israel is currently in rebellion against God, but I believe God has a plan for Israel. I do not presume to know whether the U.S. plays a significant role in that plan or not. I believe that will be revealed in due time when God is ready.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage is God-ordained and earthly governments should be silent on the matter and not attempt to tax-incentivize morality of family structure or matters that belong between individuals, couples, local churches and God. If governments had previously exercised appropriate restraint in this matter, there would be no need for them to be involved in the definition.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father as part of a triune Godhead including the Holy Ghost. I believe in the virgin birth, perfect life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and because he lived a perfect life and was crucified that sinners who believe in him are redeemed and become part of his body - the Church. I believe our country was founded on Christian values including protecting the free will of individuals (even if they choose to rebel.) Any time the government writes laws that are overly draconian, then it subverts free will and Christian values even though it may purport to enforce them. I believe when Jesus returns, He will make government perfect.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. It seems like it is a politically in-style keep racism amplified as an issue. Racism is wrong, and it feels like it should completely fade away, except for people who value it as a political tool to keep "We the People" fighting with each other so they keep stirring it up and inventing more.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Racism still exists for sure, and it is wrong. We should all be working to eliminate it by valuing all humans without regard to bloodlines or skin color. I do not believe that institutions are fundamentally racist and therefore can give CRT no credence. CRT is a political tool that invents more racism rather than combats it.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

None of these adequately represent my view. Environmental laws and regulations should be administered by States not by federal agencies. Climate change is real but is also a politically motivated hot-button item which has clouded the truth surrounding it, whether it is natural or man-made, how severely it will impact us and how quickly, and whether proposed solutions are effective or simply effective money-making schemes for elitists.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Distributed. Consumers need to be more in tune with their energy "needs" by attempting to produce it themselves. When they attempt to produce it, they realize the magnitude of the problem and become better and more frugal consumers of energy.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To provide for public services that cannot adequately be provided by the private sector. Governments at all levels should be minimized and constantly scrutinized by the public.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Very few. Restrictions on gun ownership and carry generally make the public less safe.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes
