ENDORSEMENTS

REPORTED BY CANDIDATE (1)

I have many endorsements from current and past legislators in the Iowa House and Senate. However, I am not looking for endorsements from politicians, but instead votes from voters that know I stand for their core values. If you think is system is working, vote for the canadiate the system wants.

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I don't believe under any circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed. All children were created in the image of God and we must protect and defend our most precious unborn. Here is a link where I testified publicly for Iowa's Heartbeat bill, and said that it doesn't go far enough because life begins at conception. https://www.radioiowa.com/2023/07/11/167185/ https://kscj.com/2023/07/11/iowans-argue-pros-cons-of-heartbeat-bill-at-state-capitol/

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Disagree

I don't support chemical abortion drugs.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Strongly agree that providers like Planned Parenthood should not receive taxpayer funding from any source.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I testified publicly in support of Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in Iowa in early March 2024. I will be recognized for my work standing for Religious Freedom on April 2nd at the Iowa Family Leader champions dinner.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Delete Tik Tok

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Prefer D - but we are at C

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Never. I testified at a sub-committee in support of for SF2196 Exemption Notification Bill, requiring school districts to disclose all immunization recommendation information. Children are not required to be vaccinated in Iowa to go to school.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

We must elect people that will stand for property rights and stand against eminent domain!

What is your position on the minimum wage?

We have it now in our country but I oppose increasing the minimum wage as it has unintended consequences. It leads to fewer jobs, supply and demand issues and even job losses.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

No, we must stand against anything like ESG in Iowa and do something now about pulling out of any investments that support ESG.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

It should be a top priority NOW to secure the southern border. This is top of mind for voters as they are concerned of the ramifications of unvetted individuals coming across the border with now oversight. Our border must be secure!

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

School choice is important for true educational freedom! I stood strong on this issue in Iowa! https://www.fettforhouse.com/in-the-news/1373160_school-choice I continue to support this movement and want to see additional regulations removed in the state that allows for private, charter and micro schools from opening and providing education options in the state. Having these choices will actually spawn economic growth, especially in rural areas as more schools are able to open.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Teachers, Staff, or any administration in schools private or public should be able to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights to carry. A school safety bill was introduced in Iowa that would allow administration or any school district staff, as approved by the school board, to carry with an enhanced permit to carry license. I would like to advocate more for this issue in Iowa.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

no

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

I am a constitutionalist and I love what America stands for and want to see it thrive based on how the founding fathers intended. The goal is to expand and protect our God given liberties and freedoms in all issues. We have a duty to protect and restore the constitution!

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Example of standing strong on this issue and rejecting the movement of gender ideology: https://www.wane.com/news/iowa-lawmakers-consider-ban-on-all-gender-affirming-care-for-minors/ Also held a forum in our district to talk more with the community on youth identity crisis! https://www.fettforhouse.com/pizza-politics

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

We should stop all surgical procedures on minor children that remove healthy tissue as commonly done in transgender care surgeries. https://www.iowapublicradio.org/podcast/river-to-river/2023-02-07/lawmakers-debate-lgbtq-policies-in-schools

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

https://www.wane.com/news/iowa-lawmakers-consider-ban-on-all-gender-affirming-care-for-minors/

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Chirstian who believes in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. My beliefs and values come from God's word in the bible and that is the cornerstone of who I am. Colossians 2:6-7 " So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” We must remain disciplined in his word. We know as Christians, we are called to be Christians, so we must mobilize others in truth. My campaign is "Standing for Truth" I plan to carry this passion for the Lord in my leadership roles and represent with dignified courage.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, this is a false premise that racism is systematic in the US. This poses the idea that there are oppressors and oppressed and this fundamentally goes against the American principles in the constitution that this county was founded on!

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Strongly disagree and Iowa passed HF802 that prevents this from being taught in schools K-12.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

This is an issue that myself and my daughter have been vocal on. My daughter was part of the movement to "Save Girls Sports" in Iowa and is pictured with our Governer during the signing of that bill! We need to stand strong on this issue and protect women!

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Fossil Fuels
