QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Rape, Incest, Life of the Mother.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Raising the minimum wage devalues the dollar on all levels, benefiting only politicians. While employees earn more per hour, prices of goods rise, negating their increased income. Employers may also reduce staff to balance costs and maintain profits.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

As a general rule, the government should not have the authority to close churches. While there might be some extremely rare and extreme circumstances where a temporary closure could be considered, any such action should face rigorous constitutional challenges at all levels—before, during, and after the closure. Additionally, there should be severe consequences for any arbitrary decisions, including criminal liability for those who infringe on the rights of the people.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C. However, it can and should be restructured. The issues with government funded Healthcare is in many ways it raises the costs.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No one should be forced to get vaccinated, especially if they have legitimate medical reasons. They should not be excluded from participating in society, attending educational institutions, or finding gainful employment due to their vax status.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, the United States' relationship with Israel is crucial. Israel hosts a strategic U.S. missile-defense base and stands as America’s closest partner in missile defense development. Additionally, Israel serves as a counterweight to radical forces in the Middle East, including violent extremism. This relationship has also been instrumental in preventing the further proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the region by slowing Iran's nuclear program.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Yes, parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children, provided they are not engaging in harmful practices, such as pushing "gender reassignment surgery" onto a child who, by law, cannot consent to such life-altering decisions.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm a Christian who was raised in a Christian home. I lean Pentecostal and Baptist but go to a non-denominational church. I do my best to follow the teachings of the Bible and live a moral and just life.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It can be, which is why it's crucial to unify our nation and recognize that as Americans, we are all the same regardless of our skin color. We cannot allow extremists to push harmful agendas, such as "Critical Race Theory," which teaches children that they are either oppressors or inherently oppressed simply by existing. The more these extreme groups promote their message of hate and division, the more we will continue to face race-related issues. It is essential to focus on our shared values.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Disagree

While I do not agree with Critical Race Theory's assertion that institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist, I do believe there is a "soft bigotry of low expectations," primarily pushed by some on the left. This mindset treats certain groups as if they are incapable of completing basic tasks, such as acquiring identification to vote. People who hold these beliefs should be called out, especially if they use them to oppose common-sense measures like election security.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

I align with A and C. Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs, hurt the economy, undermine U.S. energy independence, and deter the development of reliable electricity sources. Additionally, these regulations raise energy costs for the American people.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

The answer is likely nuclear, although options such as coal & natural gas are more reliable than wind and solar currently. This could change in the future as the technology progresses, but it would make sense to advocate for clean coal solutions.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

I believe the purpose of government is to protect individual rights and promote the common good. Its primary role is to safeguard our natural, God-given rights, such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It's important to note that the government does not grant these rights—they are inherent. The government's responsibility is to protect and uphold these rights for all citizens.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I have always considered myself a constitutional conservative with libertarian leanings.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

If the people in an area want to fund a community program they can do so without redirecting police funds. The people who don't want to participate should be given the option to opt in or out as well.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The right to defend oneself is a fundamental, God-given right that everyone possesses. The Second Amendment, which serves as a limit on government, is clear: "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes
