QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

None, zero, nada.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Disagree

The chemical do-it-yourself abortion is all wrong. Women are doing the abortion to themselves, rather than having it done unto them. The repurcussion is going to be tragic when one sees her dead baby in the toilet, knowing she did that.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Tax money should not go toward one's decison to kill a baby. I should not be forced to be involved with financing such deeds.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Life is in God's hands. Don't count out miracles, and don't measure the worth of the sick in the dollars for their care.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

Is private property slipping away from us?? I recognize that our rights are being taken away. For example, we are forced to place smart-meter devices on our homes, regardless of the potential harm of radiation, and such devices are more susceptible to damage from electric power surges.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Who is supposed to set the minimum wage? Is it the government? Is that constitutional -- no.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

Who is to establish the ratings, and who is to say whose social awareness is more important than another's.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None, zero, nada.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

We have choices in the Republic. You cannot change my moral belief to force me to keep my employment or trade.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D) because through employment, healthcare choices are limited by forced payroll contributions, for which the sustainability is questionable.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None, zero, nada -- once again, remember, in a republic we have choices.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

We have many who have spoken out about this for over ten years, and it is still an issue. The University of Michigan accepts students from China, and we allow them access to proprietary technology, for their piracy.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, because it's the Holy Land.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

I visited the southern border two years ago. For three days, I toured the border, and I saw the materials and equipment abandoned instead of completing the wall. Clearly, there was not enough National Guard to protect our border. In McAllen, TX the residential areas appeared to be only partially occupied, where the funnel of troubling migration drove people away. The situation is critical and has been so for a long time.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

I believe we should have vouchers for parents' choice of schooling for their children. On a side note, why is it that as enrollments decline and schools close, we do not have a corresponding decrease in taxes.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

The value of our children's lives must be instilled first in the home. To protect the children properly, we must return to Christian dialogue in society.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Parents do have such a right, and schools shall not be entitled to conduct secret treatment of children.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Nope!

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

People of Michigan had overwhelmingly voted in favor of traditional marriage, which has always been the way of life, until judges usurped authority to shape marriage as they wished.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

God is our creator. We should follow the laws of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I follow the Golden Rule -- Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

Everyone has access to a photo ID from the state, and there is no excuse for not being able to prove who you are.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

Article Four, Section 4 of the US Constitution guarantees our republican form of government, which the NPV Compact wants to circumvent. It is unconstitutional.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The real threat to our domestic security is at the southern border, where immigrants in masse enter our country illegally and without investigation. The notion of racism is taken out of context, such as in black lives matter, when indeed all lives matter.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Neutral

I dislike the notion of racism. I am not prejudiced to one group or another. However, when it comes to horse "racing", there are three classes -- Claimers, Conditioned, and Invitational -- and a horse earns higher consideration based on its own merit. People should take a lesson from horses.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

It is not a fair comparison, men against women, because there are obvious physical differences. When a man says he is a woman, his DNA is still male.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A) & C), because the free market should dictate policies. However, safeguards are obviously needed, so the question is who defines what "stricter" is. Acts of God disaster types cannot be planned for, but we still can look to developments in technology to mitigate man-made sources of pollution without curtailing the production of free market supply and demand.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear power

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

Never

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

Never

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The purpose of government is to protect our God-given rights, and special emphasis is needed for government to protect our borders.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I am very conservative, because I see how our foreign policy is out-the-window at the southern border, and our constitutional freedom of assembly has been taken away by bureaucracy, and our state is becoming a destination location for abortion, and our 2nd Amendment rights for protection against tyranny are also at risk.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

I disagree, because our community of Wayne, MI certainly does not have enough police funds to redirect to begin with. Other communities with surplus funds should simply refund that money to its taxpayers.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We need gun safety training for children, both at home and at school.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Teachers should be allowed to have protection, even if it is only a can of 29-foot hornet/wasp spray. In addition, there are non-lethal launcher pistols.
