OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

An elective abortion should never be allowed.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

I do not believe in abortions. However, if they are allowed, safety standards and mandatory reporting should be strictly adhered to in order to ensure patient safety and that patients are fully informed.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under no circumstances should taxpayers fund abortions.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support legalizing assisted suicide.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Property ownership is the bedrock of freedom in the United States. Personal private property is a fundamental concept that is essential to freedom and liberty. It is the idea that individuals have the right to own, use, and dispose of their property. This includes the ability to buy, sell, lease, and transfer property according to their wishes, subject to certain legal and regulatory constraints.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

To clarify, the market should set the minimum wage and there should be no minimum wage set by the government. Supply and demand should determine the minimum wage according to a free market economy.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

No, government should not use tax-payer dollars to determine winners and losers.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

I do not believe government should have the power to close churches.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I do not believe individuals and businesses should be required to provide services that violate their moral or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. We need to properly budget and manage Medicaid and Medicare in a way that is fiscally responsible and ensures the future viability of the programs. Competition should drive the market, not the government. Businesses will work to lean out a process, so the taxpayers are not burdened with the cost of waste.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I believe vaccinations have been useful in eradicating and suppressing communicable diseases. However, I do believe individuals should have a right to decline vaccinations and certain wavers and exemptions should apply.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I do believe the Chinese Communist Party poses serious threats on many fronts. I believe significant steps need to be taken to decouple the U.S - China relationship.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, the relationship between the United States and Israel is important politically, economically and historically. Americans and Israelis are united by their shared commitment to democracy, economic prosperity and regional security.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. should absolutely do more to physically secure the southern border.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

A parent should be able to choose where their child should receive their education. This will cause competition and increase academics for everyone.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Every child should be able to live free from violence, exploitation and abuse. This includes efforts by the government and education system to indoctrinate or groom a child toward alternative ideologies, including exposure to certain subject matters prior to age appropriateness. The education system should focus on reading, science, technology, engineering and math. Parental guidance should be the prominent influencer of cultural and religious beliefs.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Parents should be the ultimate decision-maker regarding their minor children. While parental guidance is essential for a child's well-being and development, imposing decisions without considering a child's input can hinder their autonomy and personal growth. It is important to foster open communication, encourage critical thinking, and involve children in decision-making processes when appropriate.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

The science behind SRS is incredibly patchy and largely driven by an activist agenda. Taxpayer funds should not pay for gender reassignment clinics.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is between a man and a woman.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a devout chrisitain.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Only legal U.S. citizens should vote. Those citizend shsould also provide valid state issued identification.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

No, states should not join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Our founders built the Electoral College system, which is still relevant today.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, racism is not a major threat to domestic security in the United States. It is the special interests' influence on politics and lawmakers' and thier disregard for ordinary people's opinions that pose a greater threat.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I disagree with CRT as it gives the impression that all institutions are racist and minority populations are hopelessly oppressed victims.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

If biological males and females want to compete in sports, they should compete with the gender they were born with at birth.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt economy. Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I believe oil and natural gas are the most reliable and efficient energy sources that will supply the growing demand for electricity, while continuing to explore and improve renewable energy sources for the future.
