QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
You can't kill a baby a day after it's born, so why can you kill it the day before its born? Or at 5 or 6 months gestation, when it would be viable outside the womb? Or at six weeks, when it has a heart beat? Or the moment after its conceived, when it has the DNA of a person distinct from the mother? At no point is it "her body" or "a mere clump of cells". “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you, before you were born I set you apart."--God
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Abortion is murder. Our government should be stopping and punishing murder, not paying for it, or subsidizing it, or promoting it, or facilitating it in any way. It sure should not be taking money from Americans who oppose baby murder and making their money be spent on baby murder.
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers are murderers. A baby that survives murderous attempts in the womb, and is now alive outside the womb, is most definitely not the mother's body or her choice. It as it has been since conception-- a human being with human rights. Now its living and breathing and bleeding and dying while being handled by a doctor who took an oath. That baby deserves at least as much medical attention as an illegal alien who shows up at an ER with fatal wounds and no (legitimate) insurance.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only if bringing that baby into the world alive will definitively kill the mother. HOWEVER, In the age of modern medicine, prenatal care, and emergency C-section, I can't name a circumstance in which killing a living, viable baby inside the womb is necessary to preserve the mother's life.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Homosexual and polygamous relationships can be a lot of things. They are not marriage. "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."--God "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination"-- also God
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
The U.S. was founded on the rock of religious liberty, dating back to the Pilgrims and the Mayflower Compact. As John Adams said about the Constitution, it was created by and for a religious and moral people and is unfit for any other. Unfortunately, our society has become increasingly apostate and wicked and hostile to religion, especially to JudeoChristian Biblical values. As a Constitutional Republic (not a democracy), it is more important than ever that the state preserve religious liberty.
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
The United States is the only nation in the world other than Israel to be founded in covenant with God. We are indeed Exceptional and a City on a Hill. If freedom dies here, there is truly no where else to find it. We need the Gospel and its power to change people and society now more than ever. A French philosopher, Alexis DeTocqueville, said that America is great because it is good, if it fails to be good it will not be great. We are increasingly not good. I'm all about M.A.G.A.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
IT IS NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION. It was written in a letter from Jefferson assuring Baptists in Connecticut that the federal government, bound by the Constitution, would not infringe on their rights of religious liberty. The "wall" is to protect religion and its practitioners from the government. It means freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. That any judge has used this one letter as legal basis for restricting religion and its practice is a nefarious plot straight from the pit.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
Teddy Roosevelt taught us to speak softly and carry a big stick. Maryland's motto is, "Womanly words, manly deeds." Cold War Mutually Assured Destruction may seem like MADness, but it's prevented anyone from trying to destroy us. When Jesus sent his apostles into a dangerous world to spread the Gospel, He told them to arm themselves with swords, even it they had to sell their cloak and sleep uncomforted on the hard, cold ground. "Don't start fights. But you better be able to end them!"-- my mom
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
Regardless of whether it should be or not, Medicare is an entitlement. Similar to Social Security. Everything other than is not the government's responsibility. Often it's been a tool to buy votes and party loyalty and part of plans to turn us into a socialist nation. It gave employers incentive to not offer insurance, or a living wage, or only hire people part-time. And it prompts people to work less than full time or not at all. BTW--hospitals are a JudeoChristian creation in America.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
That's one incredible Gordian knot. Middle men increase the cost and complexity of everything, and usually reduce its effectiveness. monopolies in any industry increase prices and decrease quality. Obamacare CANNOT be fixed. It is the source of our problems, not the solution. We need to eliminate Obamacare and what it has wrought and go back to whatever we had the day before that monster was enacted. Let's see how it works in today's economy. Then tweak, build or reengineer from there. There is probably a formula that gives tax breaks to employers to encourage them to offer or increase health insurance that costs the government and taxpayers less that what it is paying or would be paying for government-administered health plans.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
It is the government's responsibility to make sure that our society is safe, the currency is sound, and that business and employment law is faithfully upheld to create an environment in which commerce can thrive, jobs are available, and people are not denied employment for illegal reasons. The government nearly a century ago made Social Security payments to seniors an obligation. Since the recipients spent their working life paying into SS, it is indeed their right to receive the payments.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" are the 3 unalienable rights listed in the U.S. Declaration of Independence. They define that all people are created equal, with rights to live, act freely, and seek fulfillment; the right to exist and be secure, the right to pursue upward mobility, which government cannot arbitrarily take away. These are the reasons that America is the freest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Liberty is built on "a man's house is his castle."
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
No. Not everyone needs college. Plus, there is a huge percentage of people who cannot perform properly at the college level. People who belong in college, who can do the work and benefit from it, find a way to pay for it. Besides, the U.S. has been promising for 80 years to pay for college for every American. Well, at least the ones who have done as every able-bodied man in my family has done since 1942--serve their country in uniform.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Close the education and mind-destroying Dept. of Education, which has been responsible for generations of Marxist indoctrination. Eliminate every single public benefit to illegal aliens, including education. Return welfare programs to the states.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Nehemiah! "A nation that doesn't control its borders is not a sovereign nation!"-Reagan. "Good fences make good neighbors"- Robert Frost. "I say who, I say when!" Julia Roberts. My grandfather came here through Ellis Island. Before he could enter, he had to verify that: he was healthy, sane, not a criminal; had enough money to support himself in the short run and the skill to support himself in the long run; that he was not a Marxist or anarchist or had any allegiance to a foreign potentate.
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Any that individual, entity or government that thinks it is above U.S. immigration law is beneath consideration for financial support from the U.S. government. They are in a state of insurrection. We've fought a long, bloody, perilous Civil War with less provocation or cause. "Give unto Caesar what is his."--Jesus "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For their is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God."-- Romans 13
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
The requirements on my grandfather described above is a good start. But in 1912, we needed workers. Now we are full up and 40 percent or more of the people are on the dole in some capacity. We don't need new people. If you want to enter you need to establish that we need you or will be better off that you are here. Or in true marriage to an American citizen. There is no such thing as birthright citizenship. Chain immigration is a crock. Open borders destroys Western Civilization. Look at Europe!
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Science proves this. Too many kids and teachers are slaughtered because homicidal maniacs target schools that they expect to be soft targets. Unopposed shooting galleries. Time for that to change.
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Constitution is my lifetime carry permit. I pushed successfully for that in Indiana. It should be the law of the entire nation. But, the 2nd Amendment need not apply to non-citizens. And, maybe not to convicted, violent felons who committed a crime with a firearm. But, if libs insist on taking guns away, I'm willing to to pass (with a 10-year sunset clause) prohibition of gun ownership or gun possession by anyone who voted for both Obama and Harris. Gun crimes will decline by at least 87%.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
It makes people stupid, dangerously slow of mind and action, which makes them dangerous to the public behind the wheel, at work, etc. You can't control your intoxication level as with alcohol. Marijuana is laced with dangerous chemicals and drugs. It is a gateway drug to more powerful and dangerous drugs. It is a profit generator for cartels that deal dangerous drugs and sex traffic children. Too many Americans are too averse to working and working hard to also have them using dope.
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1) Seal the border permanently by law (not just executive order), a completed Wall, and armed men 2) Prohibit interstate sale or distribution of abortion pills 3) Revive U.S. McCarran-Walter Act (1952): This 1952 immigration law (McCarran-Walter Act) severely restricted entry for citizens from communist countries, requiring special, rare exemptions from the Attorney General. The CCP is our existential threat, a far greater threat to the U.S. than the Soviet Union ever was. China has gutted our manufacturing capacity; manufactures 80 percent of the meds we need to live; is on the verge of seizing Taiwan that makes 80 percent of the microchips we need to run our economy/defense; taken over huge swaths of our media/finance/higher education; buys and coopts our politicians; has the ability to destroy our electric grid and any device that uses electricity--putting us back into the middle ages and killing the majority of our people; have tens of thousands of spies, 3000 at Purdue alone.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
Sharia law is basis for blocking immigrants from where it is practiced, deportation of every Muslim in American who is not a citizen, and a law that bans Muslims from elected office. Muslims are loyal to a foreign potentate and a false God. Their religion is a world view and system of law antithetical to the God who gives us our human rights ensconced in our Constitution. "The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God."-John Q. Adams

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Campaigned for Reagan and Jack Kemp (the brains behind Reaganomics) when I was in high school and college. Studied Political Science and Broadcast Journalism at American University in DC Worked as a reporter interviewing congressmen and covering presidential campaigns including the first presidential run of the dumb, dishonest degenerate Joe Biden. Studied Comparative Politics and Western Civilization at University of London worked at CNN International, helping produce a miniseries on the unification of Europe into the E.U., a disastrous move that is bringing about the end of Western Civilization in Europe. Studied Government at the University of Maryland. Worked on a successful campaign to elect a "moderate" candidate in a state dominated politically by a hellacious Baltimore syndicate dating back to when the mobbed-up Pelosi clan ran "Charm City". Served my national in uniform as an U.S. Public Affairs specialist leading to my recruitment by the 82nd Airborne. Most of my first decade in Indiana I worked as a broadcast and print government reporter, including for the national Christian news magazine World. Devoted two years of my life to urban renewal and affordable housing for low-income Hoosiers working for a housing nonprofit. Trained as an Indiana, American, and Asian history teacher by Purdue University. Served more than a decade as a writer and publicist at Purdue University studying, explaining and promoting the research of experts in a variety of fields including: homeland security, cybersecurity, election integrity, public health, grassroots political activism, free speech, etc Have run a variety of grassroots political efforts including for free speech, religious freedom, 2nd Amendment, property tax reform, government overreach (including against ineffective and unConstitutional pandemic dictates).
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
no
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am the ferociously protective father of three children, including two girls headed to college in the fall. They are inheriting a world that is far too dangerous, chaotic, confusing, expensive and economically fraught. I am running to improve this situation for all our kids and grandkids. I went to DC as a teenager during Reagan's second term to study to become part of an ongoing Reagan Revolution. The uniparty made sure there was no ongoing revolution and that the Swamp returned to its previous and enduring form. I couldn't bear the though of being part of a disingenuous blood sport for the next 30 or 40 years just to move a political football back and forth across the 50-yard-line So, barely a year after graduating from college, i enrolled in the Army to serve my country in a more honest capacity. I took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, at risk to my own life. My opponents for this office have not done the same. The oath is binding for a lifetime, and is key to why I am running for Congress. I became a journalist because I thought i would be allowed to tell the truth, required to tell the truth, and would be allowed to hold our elected official to the truth. I fought that good fight for over a decade, but finally had to leave that profession when I was increasingly not allowed to report truth. Before I left D.C. one of the most honest Congressman I have ever met lamented to me that the influence of money was so pernicious in politics that it becomes difficult to ever know if you are doing the right thing as a Congressman and almost impossible to know if when doing the right thing that you did it for the right reason. When I return to D.C. as a congressman I will not have that problem. I will tell the truth regardless of the cost and will be empowered to do so because i will go there wearing the armor of God and pledged to serve in that job as unto the Lord himself.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."--John Adams. Our government was built on Biblical principals. It relies on the self-restraint and industriousness of our Founders. If citizens act like criminals, the government must increasingly become a police state. Likewise, laziness and envy will destroy America. "When the people find they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the Republic."-Ben Franklin
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Uh, NO! We cannot support, promote, or protect mental illness or lies. And, as I said during the confirmation hearing of SCOTUS's Justice Jackson, if you can't define or recognize what a woman is, you are unable to rule on or enforce civil rights law, or family law, or election law, etc. You don't belong on any bench, not even in traffic court. DEI and its Marxist underpinnings are destroying America from within.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Jesus saves us. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."--Jesus 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"--Jesus "God will provide the ram." --Abraham I am the Lord thy God. I am the Lord thy God. Thou shall not have strange gods before Me. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. Remember to keep holy the Lord's day. Honor thy father and mother. Thou shall not murder. Thou shall not commit adultery. Thou shall not steal. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's goods.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Affirming identity is the most basic element of voting integrity. Without that, elections are stolen. It's happened at least twice in my mother's lifetime. In my part of Indiana, the dead vote. So do illegal immigrants and foreign nationals. If we need a photo ID to get alcohol, medicine, drive, cash a check, etc, etc, we can and should use one to choose the leaders of the free world. Sadly, experts assure me that elections in war-torn Afghanistan were more reliable than our current election.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College is central to us being a Republic, not a mobacracy. Without the EC, the Constitution was DOA. The EChas saved us from any number of murderous tyrants, including Hillary Clinton. The Founding Fathers knew that without the Electoral College, NY and VA would select every president. Today, liberal NY and CA and IL would combine to select the president. We would have one-party rule without the EC. That's why Marxist Democrats oppose the EC and fight like hell for open borders.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. We were almost a post-race nation until Obama got elected. He didn't "heal the world" he fractured a nation. DEI, CRT, etc is Marxist BS forced on us because Marxism requires a permanent underclass, which the U.S. as a capitalist Constitutional republic has never really had, certainly since 1865. Minnesota and other places are in open insurrection because they are fighting for illegal immigrants of color. These racists hate America because it is "racist" because it was created by white men.
