OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Life of mother in jeopardy.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

It is a perversion of the marketplace. A free market can and should be how wages are set. The more valuable your contribution, the better remuneration you earn. Minimum wage laws wipe out jobs AND harm small and new businesses.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

Absolutely not. ESG is a wrongheaded attempt to social engineer. More often than not, ESG is used to punish private sector actors to the benefit of political objectives like "clean energy." Public funds should not be political weapons to reward friends and allies via patronage.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D. Health care is NOT a "human right." If it were, we would exit the womb with our own medical staff. Health care is a human innovation that requires capital, investment, education, experience. It is a service. The private sector should be where folks go for health care. Health insurance that is portable and paid for by the user should be the norm. However, the Veterans Administration provides health care to make Veterans "whole" by treating service-related injuries. That is legitimate.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

This should be a personal or parental choice. However, circumstances arise where a government can legitimately demand vaccinations (military service, public schooling) and a company has a right to set workplace standards as a condition of employment

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese communists have only grown as powerful as they are owing to the foolish Clinton Admin decision to sponsor them for entry into the WTO. Beijing has formal and informal barriers to entry into their market, engages in industrial espionage, trademark violations, copyright theft, manufactures substandard and dangerous consumer products and presents a clear and present danger to the Pacific region. Human rights abuses and threats in the South China Sea show how it is a danger to all.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel is the only multi-party, multi-racial representative democracy in a dangerous region of the planet. Contrary to the myths and lies spread about the country, it is a diverse place with religious tolerance. Israel is a leading capitalist economy with advanced agricultural, IT, and manufacturing expertise. Jerusalem's Camp David Agreement with Egypt has been a bulwark of regional peace since 1978. As a proponent for representative democracy, Israel shares key values with the USA.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The primary reason we as a polity formed a central government was to PROTECT us from foreign threats. The federal government has facilitated an invasion of criminal alien invaders who (nearly all) are not genuine asylum seekers, not "migrants." but rather foreign nationals who have no regard or respect for our sovereignty. Biden's 2 1/2-year violation of Title 42 did grave harm to social cohesion, unity, public safety, national security and public health. Protect ALL borders.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

This is perhaps the most pressing issue of our time. There is a perverse effort to harm children going on in contemporary America, under the false guise of "equality and tolerance." Children are at grave risk from this movement.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Government may extend certain privileges like inheritance, tax advantages and legal options to civil unions. But religions established marriage and that is where a marriage is consecrated.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

This is a personal matter. Churches, Mosques, Synagogues are places for people of faith to come together to celebrate and practice their faith together. However, each relationship with God is a personal one. I grew up in a society based on Judeo-Christan morals and values. These key tenets of life guide how I treat others and live my life. A Muslim colleague in Africa once told me I was one of the most moral people he has ever known. Given I was not a frequent church goer, I was a bit puzzled. But he explained that having grown up in America, I was instilled with great values, as a consequence of our religious heritage and freedoms. In retrospect I later came to understand his point. One practices their faith through their deeds.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

No. We spend billions of dollars abroad securing elections in which we demand photo ID, only to see our election integrity undermined at home. If folks can get photo ID to buy alcohol, cigarettes, prescription drugs, cash a check, send money via MoneyGram, get medical care and so on, they can produce one to vote. Voting is the most sacred civic duty. Cheapening it with lies meant to bifurcate America with race and class baiting is not acceptable.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

The electoral College is a BRILLIANT tool to ensure our union of large and small states can function and that all states are treated equally (that's also why each state has two senators). Had we not implemented the Electoral College, we would never have ratified the Constitution. Pennsylvania, New York, Virgina and Massachusetts heavily outnumbered the other 9 states. The small states only joined because the Electoral College ensured that they mattered. That remains true today.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Often bigotry is conflated with racism. They are different. Race hustling is however a serious threat. Sadly, there will always be a small number of idiots who think one "race" is better than another. However, such folks can be ignored, kept from the reins of power and proper folks will not associate with them. Race hustling is prevalent on social media, in the legacy media, and even from many elected officials. This behavior is caustic and undermines the social integrity of America.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

Far too often environmental laws are used to harm business, not achieve genuine outcomes for the environment. The current climate zealots are using it to destroy energy self-sufficiency. The laws often mandate unreasonably low particulate emissions or dictate what is a "wetland." Seldom do they actually improve the natural environment in a meaningful way. Therefore, given the choices listed above, "A" comes the closest to my view.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Small modular nuclear reactors, followed by natural gas, then coal, hydro and finally residential solar photovoltaic in that order.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

NO!

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

NO!

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To ensure a level playing field for all. To provide for the common defense and secure the blessings of liberty. Government should not be picking favorites. All are equal before the law and should get equal treatment and equal protection. Government has become intrusive and abusive, engaging private actors to help it violate the Constitution. This must be brought to an end.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Felons who have broken our societal norms and those in mental health care should not be allowed to possess firearms.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

No

No, provided we have armed public safety officers at schools protecting students and staff. Teachers carrying firearms is a distraction from educating children.
