RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Morally and personally I am pro-life without exception and believe life starts at conception. Currently we do not have the political or social environment to ban all abortion, so, at the very least, we must support avenues to limit abortion, such as a ban after the first trimester. We should also provide support and promote pathways for adoption. I will always support pro-life legislation, but we as a society must spend as much effort changing hearts as we do changing laws.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Abortion clinics, such as Planned Parenthood should never receive taxpayer funds.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Assisted suicide or euthanasia is draconian. Purposely ending a human life by the hand of another human being is reprehensible. Oppressive societies often kill the elderly and infirmed under the guise of mercy. I do support a family's right to make decisions about allowing a loved one to die of natural causes in situations when a patient is none responsive, cannot recover, and can only survive by artificial means.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Free market economies offer the greatest opportunity for individual prosperity, social mobility, and empowerment of individuals and communities. Free enterprise is more than an "economic system." It is an expression of individual liberty and self-determination. Private property is fundamental right and has been pursued as a means of self-reliance and independence throughout American history. Any threat to the free market or the ownership of property is a threat to freedom.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
The idea that minimum wage laws help people is a myth. The free market is far more effective in setting livable wages. Minimum wage laws negatively impact job creation and an individual's opportunity to improve his or her financial standing.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
"Public monies" are private monies which have been confiscated by government. Taxpayer dollars should not be used to support or promote any political ideology.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
There are NO circumstances which justify mandated closure of churches. It is a direct and obvious violation of the first amendment to restrict assembly and free exercise regardless of the reasoning.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Agree
One cannot violate the constitutional rights of another individual or group, however, being refused service does not necessarily violate a potential customer's constitutional rights. For example, refusing to make a cake for a same-sex couple on religious grounds does not violate the constitutional rights of a potential customer; refusing to make a cake for a couple of a different race does. We cannot allow the violation of conscience nor can we allow the weaponization of conscience.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C Government should be limited and frugal, but their is a role for government in providing healthcare. Medicare and Medicaid was a promise made to the American people and should be preserved. However, we must, reform both due to the irresponsible mismanagement of both systems. A better system for the delivery of healthcare involves creating a a competitive system within the free-market and addressing liability and frivolous lawsuits to drive down costs.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
From the my perspective as a strict constitutionalist, the government should never be allowed to require vaccinations. Schools can, only if it poses a proven threat to others. Private employers can require what they want of their employees.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
This is an absolute fact, and it is absurd to deny it. Douglas MacArthur predicted the CCP would become America's greatest threat. That prediction is now a reality.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is the only true democracy in the region. As the most persecuted race and nationality in world history, Israel has the absolute right to defend themselves against those who want to deny their existence. We have an obligation to support them.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Republics are dependent on the rule of law. The government of the United States is violating the law by allowing waves of illegal immigrants to enter America via our southern border. This issue is the single greatest threat to American sovereignty. Any elected official who does not support closing the border is in violation of his or her oath to protect the United States. An open border is also an affront to those immigrants who are seeking opportunity via legal means.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Agree
No student should be held back by forcing him or her to attend a failing school or a school incapable of meeting the needs of specific students. School choice is not a threat; it's an opportunity for all schooling options to compete and improve. However, the opportunity for students and parents to choose must be planned and orderly. Wise planning and implementation must be an element of choice. School policies should never supersede parental rights, and choice should be student focused.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
There is no compromise on this issue. It is a society's obligation to protect those who are most vulnerable. Those who abuse children, to include groomers, should be prosecuted to the highest extent of the law and restricted from all contact with kids. Gender ideology has absolutely no place in schools. Bodily mutilation should be illegal for kids, in all cases. Doctors who perform these procedures on kids should be prosecuted and children should be removed from any home of parents who allow it.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely, with the exception of abuse or neglect. No school or government has the authority or right to supersede the right of a parent.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely not. This is an elective procedure.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
As a Christian I firmly believe marriage is God-ordained, sacred, and between a man and a woman. Regardless of my personal beliefs, as a strict constitutionalist, I do not believe the government should have a role in deciding who should and shouldn't be legally married, with the obvious exception of minors.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a conservative, evangelical Christian who believes the Bible in it's original authorship is authoritative and infallible. My faith guides my personal views on issues and my personal conduct. In accordance with Jesus's example, I believe I have a responsibility to share my faith with others, but should never force my beliefs on others. However, I do believe faith has a role in how we should govern. The founders believed the American republic was dependent on Judeo-Christian values. Ben Franklin's 13 Virtues included the necessity of imitating Jesus. Adams, Webster, Lincoln and many others thought the Bible should be a textbook in public schools. My decisions will be guided by my faith, but I will not force my faith on others.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Arguing to prove "you are you" is a violation of one's rights and a means to suppress the vote is one of the most absurd positions in politics. Our first priority should be to secure elections. Required ID is just the tip of the iceberg. We also need to go back to an election day, not an election season. Mail-in ballots should be reserved for absentee voters only. Covid allowed a means of instituting widespread corruption of elections. Nothing else matters without election integrity.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
The Founders instituted the Electoral College as a means of creating an election system where every state and person has a voice. It also provides a means for encouraging voters to be informed and vested. Relying on a national popular vote would create a mobocracy mentality and would be the beginning of the end of our republic.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes, but not for the reasons being popularized by the left. Racism has existed in every society throughout all of history. It is wrong, immoral, and promotes ignorance. We should pursue a world where race is irrelevant, as promoted by the American Civil Rights Movement in the post-WWII Era. We are currently moving backwards in regards to race, promoting race as the primary lens for viewing society. This thinking purposely perpetuates more racism and division within our country and communities.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Racism is human and is not limited to any one region, historical era, or race. CRT is a false claim purposely designed to encourage victimhood and divide Americans. It is historically flawed and promoted as means to control people and create a dependency on those who seek power and influence. It is one of the most manipulative and damaging ideologies in modern society.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Advocating for the rights of one at the expense of the rights of others is unconstitutional. Science can not be used discriminately for ideological purposes. I also believe we should be more diligent in understanding what makes a kid follow this path. Transgenderism for most teens is a symptom of something painful for the child. As a teacher who has worked with these kids, I believe we need to be against the ideology but for the kids suffering from something which makes choose transgenderism.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A and B...There is nothing wrong with pursuing renewable energy sources, but abandoning traditional energy sources such as oil is a threat not only to our domestic way of life but also to our national security. Our greatest advantage in WWII was energy resources and manufacturing capabilities. Due to radical environmentalists that advantage no longer exists. We can balance energy production and conservation; it's not a one or the other issue. It is a common sense issue.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Oil and natural gas. Preventing the safe exploration and harvesting of oil and natural gas is dangerous to our prosperity and security. We have untapped resources which would make us energy independent and a supplier to the rest of the world.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To protect God given, natural rights and to ensure security for our citizenry. Government should be limited in size and scope.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I believe my views as expressed in this extensive survey speak for themselves, but more importantly the way I live my life on a daily basis provides the evidence behind my words. I am confident that those who know me would testify to my sincerity, empathy, and integrity. I adhere to conservative values, but political conservatism does not serve as my ultimate guide. The principles of my faith in God and his word directs me above all else.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Agree
This is a ridiculous and ineffective use of resources. How do we know...Chicago, Austin, Minneapolis, etc.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution are intended to protect the American citizen from the potential tyranny of the government. This includes the right to bear arms. The 2nd amendment is specifically intended to allow the citizenry to defend themselves against tyranny. The first amendment guarantees the five basic elements of a free society. The 2nd amendment ensures that the citizenry can defend themselves against those who seek to infringe on those rights. Gun ownership is non-negotiable.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Local communities should able to make their own decisions on how to best protect their students. However, I believe a better policy is to have armed security or police officers who are more highly trained in our schools.
