Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.

Strongly Disagree

Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?

Yes

Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.

Agree

I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

Social Emotional Learning, Art & Music, Physical Fitness, Language Arts, Foreign Language, Mathematics, American History, Science, Sexuality, Personal Finance, Information Technology, Civics, Political Activism

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Disagree

Our public schools are working hard to provide a strong education to all of the students in our community. I do not think it is wise to tax an already stressed public education system by taking money from it.

Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?

Our parents and community strive to see all of our students receive as many opportunities as possible.

Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.

I believe most parents I know or have spoken with like the option to opt-out.

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?

It is important for students to learn about their health and the stages of their development. In conjunction with teaching biology and other science courses, students should be taught a science based course on their sexual education. This is especially important in our middle school and high school age groups. I believe it is a responsibility of both the school and parents to teach students about sexual education. Obviously, the school should handle the science based facts covering human anatomy, the reproductive system, the stages of pregnancy, and contraceptives. These topics cannot be hidden from our students as it is the lives they are living, and it is our community responsibility to arm our students with the knowledge to keep themselves safe.

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development

Sexual education should include: human anatomy and the reproductive system, stages of pregnancy, contraceptives, and consent.

Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause infertility and a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.

Children have the right to be protected from hypersexualization (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
