QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Neutral
Government should also spend as much energy and funds to provide alternate options to preserve a life.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Choose not to answer
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Incest, Rape or in situations threatening the life of the mother if the mother so chooses
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
I am not a big fan of banning anything. In a civilized society, people should be able to make informed decisions without the government telling them though I strongly believe life begins at conception.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Gradual reduction of Income Taxes while changing to multi-tiered Sales/Use Tax models for revenue streams with total elimination of Income Taxes to small businesses over a period of time that gross less than 150,000.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Agree
Badly conceived idea to help those drowning with student loans.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
Yes
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
While I agree that the government may not want to endorse any particular faith, the separation of church and state should not be applied selectively against the Christian faith alone.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Government can not force a butcher to sell pork if his religious faith disapproves. Same principle should apply in other instances.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Government has no business telling citizens what medicine or vaccine to take or not take. It should be solely the decision of an individual and his/her medical advisor.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
And yet, our national security doctrine has not changed. We continue to make same policy mistakes we made in China while dealing with other regions today.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
America's relationship with all countries are important, including the one with Israel. Israel must also respect the people Christian, Muslim, Bahai and other faiths for a lasting peace in the region.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
I have not yet studied the issue closely.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
While we are a welcoming country, open borders is not the way to do it. I would eliminate lobbying from foreign governments while reforming the immigration system which will work for the interest of the United States only.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Skill-based immigration is vital to our economy. At the same time, we should prioritize family relations and the asylum seekers due to the persecution of their faith in their home country. Political instability in one's home country could not be the basis for granting asylum.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
As educational standards in public schools continue to break down, alternate options such as homeschooling, charter schools, tax credits...etc are a must for parents with children now. This policy could be reviewed after 15 years if the public schooling system is fixed to the satisfaction of the parents.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
The proof is in the pudding. Department of Education has failed to educate sufficient students to fill the skilled jobs in the United States that we are now importing them from the third world. DOE has not done what even developing countries have achieved in educating their children. Instead, the DOE is more interested in indoctrinating children and confusing them of their gender than teaching them math & science. It's high time for DOE to go. Funds must go directly to school boards & the state.
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
Procreation is essential for the continuity of our species. A strong family bond is emotionally essential for a child to grow up. Government must stay out of legislating or trying to redefine what a family is.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
If an adult wants to adopt a different gender identity, he or she does not qualify to be treated differently than the one that does not want gender transition and hence should not qualify to be funded by the public tax payers. If an adult wants to undergo a gender transition for any reason, he/she should pay for it or organizations that promote gender transition should raise the money to pay for it.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My spiritual values come from the moral teachings of Christ and my values are based on compassion and common sense. My public policy positions are based on common sense and conservative values than any religious convictions.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
It is just common sense to know who is voting at a time, where our country is flooded with people coming from several hostile countries.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Neutral
It is up to constitutional bodies and political parties to decide collectively.
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Disagree
Manifestation of such ideas are more cultural and tribal. Such sweeping assertions can not be and should not be made while some individuals a group of individuals may try to protect which they may feel rightfully belongs to them and only for as long as such people are holding positions and resources to make an impact.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
It is just common sense.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
Climate change is a process that has been happening for 10,000 years. A mile-high ice-cap over North America 10,000 years ago did not disappear due to human activity. To believe, we could stop climate change by spending money is silly.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Solar and Wind are possible alternate sources of generating electricity for now until we are able to invent alternate modes of energy other than electricity to power our societies.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
I am a common sense conservative who does not like to be labeled one way or the other by preconceived notions and ideas.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
A lean and efficient government should protect the borders, besides promoting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. A government is responsible for keeping the law and order in pursuit of individual liberties and peaceful co-existence. A government should not try to control the lives of the people, or dictate what they should think or do.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Neutral
The Supreme Court is just fine the way it is.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Disagree
Policing, though there is room for reform, is an essential responsibility of the government to keep order in a community.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Timely intervention when signs of mental illness is detected by not only doctors and teachers but also by friends and family members.
