OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Life threatening circumstances. As well as extreme abuse scenarios non-adult women are carrying a fetus from an aggravated sexual assualt/incest case. These are extreme and non-common cases. I am against abortion generally as a practice.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

There are very few scenarios where I would feel it would be appropriate. All of which are regarding the quality of life in the final months or stages of life itself for the individual.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I feel minimum wage is to set a mininum standard for the employer, not the employee. It should not be enough to build a retirement on. But to start a career in a fair compensation for labor produced.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

I'm not certain there are any. However, if there is such a scenario it would be surrounding public safety. In which case it is very unlikely, and I see no such event taking place.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Everyone should be free to provide the services they wish. Provided they are not receiving government funds to operate the business.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B. Mainly as healthcare options have priced out many americans from affording them. Out of the population I have spoke with. My observation is roughly 1/3 of the people either don't have it now or have not had health insurance in the last two years at some point for an extended period of time.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

In medical emergencies for the country. However, I do not now, nor did I ever believe covid-19 was a national medical emergency. Influenza, polio, the black plague. These are examples of circumstances where I would agree with required vaccinations.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I believe it is extremely important. They are our ally; they have supported us in the middle east for decades. However, I do not feel the same way about Ukraine.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

This is obvious for anyone with common sense.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Agree

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

In every case except where signs abuse is prevalent.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

I feel as soon as marriage became a legal and government document that requires government fees and government officials and judges that oversee marriages. It became something that government has already defined. Once we remove the government oversight and authority. Or legal precedence of the marriage contract. Then I would be willing to answer more in depth. However, I have been married twice. Both times the government had final say on everything. I even paid the government to get married.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a very spiritual person. I consider myself a Christian. However, I prefer to keep my faith to myself and to not let it decide my policy for me. The policy I support is what I believe for the betterment of the people and our country.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It is always a threat. Any division that can cause violence is a threat to the domestic security of the country. However, I believe racism can come in many forms, not simply one narrative.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

C

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Solar or Hydropower.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

Never.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

Never.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To be in the best interest of the people. "Provide the common defense and promote the general welfare."

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I believe in freedom for people. I believe in people's right to choose for themselves the decisions in their lives as long as they do not harm others. I despise infringement on people's lives based on personal views. I despise over taxation and government overreach. I support the United States of America and its constitution. To its core values from what the founding fathers intended it to be. Not what corrupt politicians have made it become.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe in open carry for those who have not abused their right to freedom to harm others with malicious intent.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes
