QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Extenuating circumstances involving the life of the mother. There is a debate to be made about rape and incest, but those are still innocent lives in the womb.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

While there are many instances of a fate worse than death, I just don't believe it's the right thing for medical personnel to take someone's life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

NEVER!

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Businesses absolutely have the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason. It may not be right in some unique cases; but as far as having the RIGHT to do so, that still stands with me.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

This should be never an occurrence in the United States of America.

NATIONAL SECURITY

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Israel is arguably our most significant ally. Maintaining strong diplomatic ties with them is vital to ensuring stability in the Levant and at least somewhat manageable governance throughout the Middle East. I personally believe that it is in the best interest of my country to uphold Biblical values and forge alliances with nations who also seek to do so. Israel is also the epicenter of Biblical history and should be protected at all costs.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I don't believe the government or any of its subsidiaries should have the authority to mandate a so-called "vaccine".

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B and C would best align with my view.

ECONOMY

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Choose not to answer

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. If you're referring to social advocacy groups like BLM, or Queers For Palestine, I don't believe they should receive a dime from the government to advance any of their initiatives. Tax revenue needs to allocated for infrastructural investments such repaving our roads that are in disrepair or revitalizing low income communities that have been neglected by Democratic leaders and classic career politicians for years on end.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe adjusting the minimum wage to account for the rampant inflation caused by Bidenomics would eventually lead to employers hiring kiosks to cut costs and hit profit margins.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Private property is the cornerstone of a free society.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

This right here should be the most emphatic reason not to vote for Kamala Harris. In fact, I would contend that the American public should file a class action lawsuit against the Biden administration for the negligence to public safety and mismanagement of hard-earned tax dollars (by putting many of these migrants up in 5-star hotels while veterans sleep on the streets).

EDUCATION

I support a constitutional amendment that would allow Kentucky’s General Assembly to set up a school choice program to allow dollars to follow children to the school of their choice.

Strongly Agree

School Choice is a MUST. If I can actually win this election, I will be another voices for tax credit vouchers to enable low income residents to send their children to private schools. I will also push to phase out personal property tax. It doesn't make sense in my mind that the bulk of that revenue is going to fund the dumpster fire that is known as JCPS, especially at a time when hard-working Kentuckians can't buy gas and groceries can't to the economic policies of the federal bureaucracy.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe background checks are sensible prior to purchase. I do not believe that very young children should have easy access to firearms due to the liability involved. It's not a good idea for mentally ill people to be in possession of a firearm, but there are specific points I would like to argue on this. I will not do it here though for lack of space and time.

Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.

Strongly Agree

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Do you support the expansion of gambling in Kentucky?

Choose not to answer

I personally don't condone that lifestyle, but when considering the amount of job opportunities created and the new tax base is presents, I believe the pros outweigh the cons, at least from an economic standpoint.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To maintain a functional, civilized society.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

VALUES

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Gender identity is not an inherent quality and deserves no preferential treatment.

Parental rights are a fundamental right, and parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Much moreso than the public school system.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Born-again Christian. Attend Zion United Baptist on Greenwood Rd. Despite having fallen short on numerous occasions, I do the best that I can to live in a manner that is becoming of our Lord and Savior.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College is absolutely necessary, unless of course you want Chicago and LA to decide every election.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Coal as of right now. I'm not opposed to green energy, but we are not at a point in time where it is a sustainable option.

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

Probably C. I believe in establishing a strong domestic energy sector, which we had during the Trump era. We have plenty of oil and we need to drill for it instead of doing business with OPEC.
