QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Choose not to answer
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Work with the student and family to best meet the graduation needs of the student.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Citizens fund the government. I would love to have my whole community college educated. The individuals that I know that graduated high school in the 70's received what is now college level courses. Can we educate our citizens to college level in the 13 years we have them? Child development experts assert a child's mind is not ready to sit and learn 2 dimensional skills before age 5 or 6, they are busy learning all about the 3 dimensional world around them. No Pre-K or college.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
I don't agree that we mandate any curriculum beyond reading, writing, arithmetic, basic science, physical education training and music composition. All others should be electives.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Disagree
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Agree
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Choose not to answer
I agree with the first part of the question, all citizens should be educated on the founding documents of the country in which they reside. As far as cultivating patriotism...We should teach our children where to look and not tell them what to think or what to feel. If we provide a curriculum that grows their mental aquity and teaches critical thinking skills, we raise productive, free and free thinking community members.
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Choose not to answer
I grew up in Southern California during the desegrated busing era. I lived there until the age of 24. Childhood was learning, eating and playing in diverse communities, ethnically, politically and spiritually. The United States was built on immigrants from around the world. I do not support this new form called DEI as if this is new and revolutionary. It is not.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
I think the local community knows what is best suited for their childrens' education and is better suited to administer the curriculum than someone in DC.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
Language Arts Mathematics Physical Fitness Art & Music Information Technology American History World History Foreign Language Personal Finance Science Vocational Learning Civics
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
Equality of opportunity.
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
A
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Humans are fractals of God/Source having a human experience. Our religious/spiritual teachings vary by our birth region and all include moral or "correct thinking" guidance to be better community members. What most fail to teach, is that if you truly live by your given or adopted doctrine, it is you that is happier, and both mentally and physically healthier. I was raised Christian, and adopted Buddhism that fulfilled my questions that the bible and clergy could not answer. I have since studied Hinduism while teaching at the Hindu Temple in Kaukauna for 7 years, Sikhism having been taught yoga by the American Sikh community and I visited Gurdwaras across India in 2016/2017.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
We are responsible for our children until they are 18 years old. Appropriate age is a parental choice and will vary by individual child.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
Human Anatomy/Reproductive System Stages of pregnancy & fetal development If Sex Ed, beyond what I have listed above, is offered in public schools an "opt in" choice for parents that are okay with having it taught outside of their discernment, is needed.
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Strongly Agree
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Choose not to answer
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
