RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Disagree
In times of rape, incest, or medical necessity, abortion should always be available. This is logical.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Neutral
Two part question; Obviously drugs should be required to meet essential safety standards, however a REQUIREMENT to gather evidence for the purposes of reporting may be overly invasive for sensitive-situation patients (rape/incest).
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest, medical necessity, agreement by both involved parties (on a limited basis).
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
I believe people have a responsibility to be responsible. Abortion should not be viewed as a form of birth-control or as an answer to irresponsible behavior. If you are going to do the deed, you need to be prepared for what comes next. I don't think we need federal legislation for this, but we do need to grow up and take responsibility socially. In literally every aspect of our society, if a citizen is facing an issue, we expect that citizen to acknowledge the decisions that led them there. With pregnancy however, we act like it's something that just accidentally happens to you like catching the flu. In reality, we make choices that lead to that pregnancy. Abortion should not be a socially accepted answer to those choices. Aside from that however, as I stated, in circumstances such as, but not limited to, rape, incest, medical necessity, agreement by both parties involved (on a limited basis), abortions should be socially accepted.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Fix Medicare and Social Security so we can keep the programs, improve the programs, and not go broke. Show Americans the realities of Government Spending so they can see for themselves what our government costs US, and what we could have had instead.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
To be clear: Joe Biden offered up to $20,000 "student loan debt relief" for those who qualify. The IRS was clear they would consider this relief as "income." This amounts to Joe Biden offering a cash payout in exchange for votes (isn't that illegal?) Regardless, Constitutional Scholars stated prior to the election that the proposal would not meet Standards and therefore would never happen. In politics, this kind of intentional lie is called "the carrot." Something you want, but can never have.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
This question is unclear. If you are referring to investing public monies into private companies, that should never happen. Isn't this supposed to be a capitalist society? As soon as government begins investing in private companies, we create an unfair system and a corrupt system. I support supporting Small Business, but with larger companies the money they receive is just an extension of personal favors among wealthy Company and Government leaders.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Americans are free to practice any religion they choose. Government has a responsibility to be "Hands Off" when it comes to issues of religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Why would you want to support someone who is the exact opposite of you anyway? When a business supports the things I don't support, I go to a different business...
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never. Temporary appointments should never require permanent alterations. At the same time, contagious people should have a requirement not to spread a contagion.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
It's 2024, where are the cures? I do a video series on the cost of insurance spending vs the cost of cure based research. In short, we should have a cure for EVERYTHING. Investing in insurance instead of research is making companies rich, making Congress rich, and killing US.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
To be a leader with others, you must first be a leader with yourself. We are no longer a leader at home. Our country is a mess right now. We must address our own problems first. In the past, America prevented conflicts simply by virtue of being America. NO ONE, wanted to mess with US. That is not the case anymore. We are no longer respected internationally. We have to solve this problem first, then the rest will solve itself. No one messes with America when we're at full power.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
If you took the time to learn the history of China and how they formed into a nation you would be very scared of what they are potentially capable of today. If any one country is going to take over the entire world, it would likely be China. This is why we have to accept the realities of the digital world and make actual real strides towards World Unity. It's time to head to Space.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Personally I think the United States' relationship with every country is important. Growing up in the 1990s our country was so highly respected by the entire world. We don't have that anymore. We need to fix the problems within our country, clean house within our government, and get back to being a world leader that is worthy of international respect.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
Vietnam proved our government is willing to lie to US and allow US to die as a result. Our government has done nothing since to show it has changed. Americans no longer believe American military action is based on necessity, they now believe it is based on money. We used to make weapons to fight wars, now we make wars to sell weapons; and everyone knows it. Americans will always fight for America. They will not die so politicians can get rich.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
This is literally the foundation of any sedentary human society going all the way back to the beginning of our existence. A country has borders. Those borders must be secured.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Illegal immigration has broken our country. We have a 30 year backlog of undocumented people that must be dealt with first. Beyond that, this is such an easy question: pro-America people who have something to offer our country should always be welcomed in it. However, bringing the failings of the country you fled and trying to establish those failings here is WRONG. As Americans, we should always welcome those who want to be real Americans too, and who are proud to adopt Red White and Blue.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Neutral
I support modernizing our schools. Again, I do a video series on the realities of Government Spending, we can EASILY update and upgrade our school systems and make them the state of the art learning facilities they should be. Teachers should never have to worry about supplies. The money is absolutely there. I worked in schools and can tell you factually, the children ARE our future. It is time we start investing in them and treating them as such.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Disagree
IF we were to do something like this, we would have to eliminate corruption from our government first. Currently, the states aren't responsible enough to take on such a task. I believe local communities could, but states however could not. Just look at Florida and California. Imagine an America where half the people grow up with California's version of events and half grow up with Florida's. That's going to cause some problems...
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
I'm single by choice. When it comes to relationships, I really don't care what people do as long as they keep it between themselves. I personally don't want to hear about it one way or the other. As a legislator, I would vote and act in the manner that my constituents instructed me, which is the duty of an elected representative. When they cast a vote in Congress, it's supposed to be YOUR vote.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
When people discuss gender affirming care for minors, I discuss Gypsy Rose Blanchard. The sad reality is, parents and doctors don't always have their child's best interests at heart. To be clear however, this issue goes way beyond any single issue. There is A LOT of child abuse in America. A LOT. When I worked in the schools I couldn't believe it. We ALLOW this to happen because we protect the adults instead of the kids. We need to make a big change in how we see things.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Neutral
This is a tough one. Is this required care or is it desired care? How far does it go? If we allow this, where do we draw the line? A much larger, open, and OBJECTIVE discussion is required to properly answer this question.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in doing the right thing above all else, no matter what it costs you personally. I believe all of us can and should be doing better than we are, but most of us have no idea how. I believe that America should be the greatest country on our planet and should absolutely be the one to lead on the World Stage. I believe in committing to the hard work required to create change, it's just like going to the gym. I believe in a no excuses attitude. If you want things to change, stand up and do something to change them. Otherwise, sit down and be quiet. I believe in all of you, truly. This is OUR country. This is OUR government. WE have the ability to fix it. We have to stand UNITED and say it is time "To Eliminate Corruption in Congress."
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Seriously?...
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Agree
Yes. It is absolutely time to seek a new system of elections.
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
My mom was born in 1950. At that time, I would have clicked "Strongly Agree." Now however, there is PLENTY of evidence to show that the only color that matters in America anymore is green. If you have the money, you're in the club. If not, then it doesn't matter if you're white, black, brown, blue, or orange. No one cares about poor people. I am poor. I have NEVER been given an advantage based on my skin color. I am judged, like all of you, on the merits of my wealth (or lack of).
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
This statement, as written, makes perfect sense.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Agree
Every day they tell us things are getting worse, then they continue to...do nothing. If our planet is literally going to die, why hasn't the government done something already? Is it to late? Or is the problem not as bad as they say? In truth, established Members of Government are heavily invested in oil, newer Members are heavily invested in green energy. It may simply be about the money. Whatever the deal, greed must be addressed.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Foolish question. I'm not an energy expert. Perhaps water though? Look at the waves in the ocean. Back and forth, back and forth. I'm sure we could make some kind of generator that could utilize that on a large scale.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
I would like to choose "None of the Above." Liberals are on the left, conservatives are on the right. I am a completely out of the box thinker. I use logic and an objective viewpoint to see the reality of the situation and then act appropriately. This unique style of thinking is by far my strongest asset. If you want to continue with business as usual (doing nothing), feel free to pick a liberal or conservative. If you want to actually solve the problems, then let's get to work.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To govern... ;) At this point, our society has become so large that some form of government is absolutely required. As such, we have a responsibility to do what is best for our citizens and our country, with the hope that it extends out to the whole world. The purpose of government IS NOT for members of government to become personally rich. We have a responsibility to give our people the very best lives they can have, with the very best opportunities. It is a privilege to be born an American.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No. I have completely abstained for the majority of my adult life. While most of Washington D.C. focuses on their midsection, I'll be focused on work.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
Nope!
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Neutral
The Supreme Court is no longer a legitimate body. When a citizen's Constitutional Rights can be taken away from them by corrupt politicians and it takes the Supreme Court years or DECADES to restore them, then the Supreme Court has no value. The court needs to be remade entirely with an emphasis on providing decisions in a timely manner. Laws dealing with Constitutional issues should be required to defeat court challenge before being implemented. The Supreme Court should be preemptive.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Cops work so hard. They deserve more pay. However, retraining is needed. An officer's job isn't policing, it's public service. Many have forgotten this or are not aware at all. With that said, our cops do a fantastic job, and I would never support taking their funding away. At the same time, we absolutely need more community based programs, 100%, but that money should not come at the expense of good officers.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I personally went through professional training. It makes all the difference in the world. I went from being afraid of guns, thinking they would go off at any moment, to really understanding them and having the knowledge to use them safely. In regards to restrictions for the purposes of public safety, sadly, look at what the intended plan for the Columbine shooting was. If we take away the guns, they'll just make more bombs. We really do have to address violent mentality.
