Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

We're a nation drowning in debt. The very last thing Congress should be forcing taxpayers to fund is abortion.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

In addition to ending the life of an innocent preborn child, Chemical Abortion pills are harmful to mothers ingesting them and the side effects are rarely ever fully explained to mothers.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
If the mother's life is in danger, doctors should be required to do everything in their power to save the life of both the mother and the child, even if this means inducing labor early, etc. There are no medical circumstances, however, where a baby is aborted or left to die to save the mother's life.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
Yes. Abortion should be illegal under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Congress should pass the federal Life at Conception Act to end abortion under section 5 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
I would slash taxes and cut spending. This, along with eliminating a plethora of unnecessary federal regulations, will result in an economic boom as we've seen time & time again when done successfully.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

In addition to it being unfair for citizens to pay the financial debt of other citizens, this would disproportionately affect lower income citizens.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
Absolutely not. ESG is a dangerous threat to our society that will ultimately give too much power to the elite to control the lives of every day and ordinary American citizens and businesses. ESG is nothing but an effort to coerce free citizens and entrepreneurs into an agenda contrary to conservative values.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It strictly means the government shall not formally adopt an official religion. It still allows for the freedom of Christians, etc. in elected offices to practice their religion even on public property. The radical Left distorts the term "separation of church and state" into an attack on Christianity.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
There are no circumstances where government or a public school be allowed to require vaccinations. Employers and private schools should disclose any vaccination requirement to students and potential employees prior to enrollment or hiring.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Government should not renege on the promises made to our Seniors and those closing in on retirement. Long term, it should be phased out in favor of a more free-market approach and allow employees to opt-out of federally mandated Medicaid paycheck deductions.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I support an America First foreign policy where we intervene when a clear, dangerous, and imminent threat is presented. I don't believe in nation building. Instead of spending billions of US taxpayer dollars of foreign aid, empire building, and feeding the Military Industrial Complex, I believe Congress should spend on America First.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Congress needs to do a better job of taking this threat seriously, starting with stopping Chinese companies and allies of the CCP from hoarding hundreds of thousands of acres of America's farm land.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is a key ally in the Middle East. I support Donald Trump's foreign policy and legacy where foreign leaders in the Middle East were warned America should be seen as "no better friend, no worse enemy." This created positive foreign diplomacy with amiable leaders and forced discipline against hostile leaders in the Middle East. We're now seeing the sad results of Biden's foreign policy, which has created the opposite effect.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
Woke policies from the ivory tower-types who hate America and believe America was never great. When students are taught this at a young age, why would they want to join the military and protect a nation that they were told isn't worth protecting? When you add the fact that too many leaders want to intervene in places that aren't necessary to eradicate dangerous threats, it has created the perfect storm that has led to a collapse in recruitment numbers.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Impeach Secretary Mayorkas and place a temporary moratorium on immigration until the border is fully secured, the wall is finished, the backlog of current pending cases is cleared, and the naturalization process is streamlined to meet 21st Century demands.

Immigration should be built around a merit based system.

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

As a former public school teacher, I saw firsthand how current federal public education policies are failing to adequately prepare our children for life outside the classroom. The best path to curbing the influence of teachers' unions and restoring America's schools to prominence is through School Choice. No child should be forced to attend a failing school simply because of where they live. Unfettered access to quality education will provide millions of children with more opportunities.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

I believe that the answer to fixing American schools should not come from the federal government, but rather from local communities, school boards, and state departments of education. The federal government can and should provide funding for education, but the decisions on how to utilize that funding should be left to the local and state governments that have a better understanding of the educational needs of their students.
