QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
None. This is a personal family matter and unless the student experienced a medical emergency while on school campus, the school has no role in helping the student in this way.
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I wholeheartedly believe that human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage of natural existence. Throughout the Old Testament, societies are considered to have reached a maximum point of wickedness when they begin sacrificing children. Protecting and caring for the most innocent lives is at the very core of living justly and righteously.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Agree
In the Palmer v. Board of Education of the City of Chicago (1980) decision, when a teacher refused to teach a curriculum that she said violated her own religious beliefs, the court recognized that a teacher is allowed to have personal views that might be different from the curriculum, but upheld that the mandate of the school district to provide an education requires that teachers “cannot be left to teach the way they please.”
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Free enterprise and the right to private property create the perfect conditions for a productive and dynamic economic system, which benefits everyone. To have a productive economic system, free enterprise and the right to private property are essential for many reasons, including that they provide incentives for innovation and productivity, competition, foster economic growth, and allow the allocation of resources based on market demand and supply.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I do not support increasing any more government spending, much less on education. The government is not fiscally responsible, and we are already facing budget cuts. I do not support providing government-funded education from Pre-K through college.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender transitioning providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not. The “providers” are only interested in increasing their profits and not advocating for the best interests of our children.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Effective discipline requires consistency, fairness and firmness. The goal is to foster acceptable and appropriate behavior in children, and to ultimately raise emotionally mature adults who are considerate of others with the capacity to be assertive without being aggressive or hostile.
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
Absolutely. All taxpayers should be able to review the educational material that we are paying for.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
I believe we should establish a mandate for Constitutional Literacy for our students in order to graduate; a test that would be exactly the same as the test to become a legal American citizen.
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
I do not support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs, initiatives or approaches. Contrary to what the words “diversity,” “equity,” and “inclusion” truly mean, DEI has become notoriously synonymous with divisive, racist and intolerant. School leaders should be prohibited from forcing teachers or students to accept the idea that they are inherently racist because of their skin color, nor should the idea that “America is systemically racist,” which is already prohibited by the Civil Rights
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Ninety percent of the US Department of Education’s budget goes towards administration and not into our schools and classrooms. Our students and educators would be better served if control were given back to the states and communities, where the community members are more invested in ensuring the students succeed.
If a member of the public flags (challenges) a book as inappropriate and the school board disagrees, should the board impose a moratorium on when the book can be challenged again? If yes, for how long?
No. If any parent or citizen feels that a book is inappropriate they should be able to file a compliant as often as they like. Ultimately it is the school board's decision.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
Language Arts, Mathematics, American History, Science, Civics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Information Technology, Foreign Language
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Competition breeds excellence and allowing parents the freedom to choose their child’s school is the best way of ensuring that schools maintain academic excellence through competition
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
Equality of opportunities
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
OPT-IN All programs should be OPT IN ONLY WITH PARENT CONSENT.
Who should make decisions about whether or not a book is appropriate for children? A) the elected school board members; B) an outsourced community committee
Elected School Board members. Non-elected individuals should not be the ultimate decision makers.
2ND AMENDMENT
The right to bear arms is fundamental and must be protected.
Strongly Agree
According to the FBI, 69% of active threat events end in five minutes or less while 67% are over before the officers even arrive. With some of our schools, homes and businesses located rurally, response times for law enforcement could be upward of 10 minutes or more. While I recognize the inherent risk of guns on school premises, I believe with consistent, professional training, having armed faculty (family) would be a huge deterrent for school shootings, robberies and home invasions.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
Strongly Disagree
I do not believe school districts should be able to mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary. After the terrible and tyrannical way that the covid SCAMDEMIC was handled, I do not trust anyone to make health decisions for me or my child.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I wholeheartedly support Free Speech and religious liberty. I do not believe America should be involved in the politics of other countries or fight their wars. I support tariffs on other countries to benefit American farmers and businesses. I believe capitalism is the most effective way to end poverty.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born-again Christian, a humble servant of our Divine Creator, God Almighty. I believe in the sanctity of life, from conception to natural death. I value truth, respect, authenticity, kindness and our freedom. I have been raised to treat others the way I want to be treated; to practice kindness and forgiveness; and to love God, and all His children.
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Strongly Agree
Recently, a landmark 15-year study concluded that most gender-confused children grow out of it. To allow a child to make a decision that has life-long dangerous and irreversible health consequences is preposterous and not in the best interest of the child, especially now that this confirms that being “trans” is usually just a phase for kids.
If sexual education is taught in schools, what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents are responsible for teaching sexual education to their child(ren) and it is up to them when it should be taught, but not before the age of 12 years old if in publicly funded schools, and only with parental consent.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Strongly Agree
I am a Christian and was raised to believe that marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman, which is essential to the formation and sustainability of a civil and prosperous society.
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.
Strongly Agree
No explanation needed. Our fundamental rights as parents are granted to us by our Divine Creator. End of Story. NON-NEGOTIABLE
Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Children do not have the emotional, moral and intellectual capacity to make consequential life decisions for themselves until the age of 18 y/o. As parents, we are ultimately responsible for their health and wellbeing until the age of 18 y/o, and thereby should have the access to all records pertaining to the child(ren).
School children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming including drag shows and explicit materials with pictures of sex acts and graphic language.
Strongly Agree
It is a federal offense to subject a minor to pervasively vulgar and educationally unsuitable material in the name of education.
Should schools be giving instruction on how to engage in sexual acts, the pleasures of sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity or should they instead focus on educating students about the science of reproduction?
Schools should focus on educating students about the miracle of life and the science of reproduction rather than how to engage in sexual acts, sexual orientation or gender identity.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
With thousands of illegal invaders crossing our borders every day, the security of our elections is at stake. We must require all voters to present a proper ID. The majority of Americans do not consider requiring a photo ID racist. One must present a photo ID to purchase alcohol or certain cold/sinus medicines, obtain a library card, buy cigarettes, or even adopt a pet. Assuming that individuals of certain races are unable to obtain proper identification can actually perpetuate racist stere
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Females have a right to privacy. Males have a natural physical advantage over females and should not be allowed to participate in female sports. Allowing this to happen will ruin female sports as we know it. Since the inception of Title IX, over 50 years ago, female athletics have soared to phenomenal heights and our female athletes have accomplished things only once dreamed of because of the opportunities afforded to them through podium and championship opportunities.
