QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer money should never be used to kill the unborn. More resources should be spent on pregnancy crisis centers to help women find alternatives to abortion.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I am 100 percent pro-life.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
The Federal government should do everything it can to save as many babies from being murdered as possible.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The term of "separation of church and state" is not in the Constitution. It was from a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1802 to ease the concerns that the new country would become a theocracy forcing the faithful to act against their church. It didn't mean we'd be a faithless nation. Sadly, we've seen the federal government try to force religious Americans to act against their faith. This is what needs to stop. The government needs to stop trying to force secular values on religious Americans.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
As I said in the previous answer, the separation of church and state is to protect citizens from the government, not to force citizens to align themselves with the values of those in elected office. So, no, I do not believe religious people and businesses should be forced to violate their morals to provide services.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C. America has an obligation to our allies to stay engaged in the world and help thwart the threat of terrorism, yet we cannot go abroad seeking monsters to destroy in the hopes of spreading freedom and democracy to nations that have never had it and do not want it. It much more important that we work to protect the freedoms of people living here that have been under constant assault by an ever increasing federal government.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
We must do everything in our legislative power to ensure protections from the CCP, including forcing divestment in American data companies, apps like TikTok, and banning the sale of U.S. farmland to the CCP.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
The United States' relationship with Israel is unique and important. As the only true democracy in the Middle East, Israel has become the first line of defense against a hostile Iran seeking to destroy the Western world and has worked to thwart terrorist organizations around the Middle East that would love to destroy the United States.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
The primary group no longer joining the armed services are young white men. I believe this is largely due to our leaders in the government and the military becoming openly hostile to them. Young men are told that their "whiteness" and "toxic masculinity" are a plague on society and so they have no interest in joining our institutions like the military. This needs to be reversed. Leaders should not target anyone based on their race or sex.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I do not believe a government, school, or employer should ever be allowed to force students, employees or customers to have a covid vaccine.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C. Medicaid and Medicare have long-term funding issues, but millions of elderly and disabled Americans depend on them and we cannot pull the rug from underneath them at this point. But it is important that we move towards a more free market approach to healthcare that will end up reducing prices and providing better services. We cannot accept socialized healthcare.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
I support lowering taxes across the board for all Americans and making the Trump tax cuts permanent.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayers should not be responsible for paying back student loans. Colleges and universities should be held responsible for saddling students with tens-of-thousands of dollars in debt for degrees that hold no job prospects.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
ESG is a tactic the left uses in the war against oil, gas, and coal production. It doesn't do anything to protect the environment and weaponizes public funds to promote a far-left political agenda. I don't believe federal or state governments should sign contracts with companies promoting ESG.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Securing the southern border is one of the most important jobs the federal government has right now. We need to build a physical wall across the entire border, reform our asylum laws, and restore Remain in Mexico. There is absolutely no excuse why the U.S. doesn't have the most secure borders in the entire world.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Since 2007, the U.S. has approved more than 1 million green cards per year. That's roughly the size of New York State. Most come through family reunification and without any skills. I support a merit based system, that means immigrants would have to hold skills and degrees, not be drain on the public welfare, have no criminal history, know English before they come, and hold our values. Furthermore we must reduce legal immigration by about half by cutting programs like the diversity visa.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
Yes, all thee above.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
When you're being robbed, you don't call a social worker or community organizer. I fully back the blue and would not support any efforts to defund the police.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I do not support any restrictions on gun ownership. Despite what liberals may say, gun ownership keeps Americans safe. I will do whatever I can to protect Americans losing any of their Second Amendment rights.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
I will support a Constitutional Amendment limiting the number of Supreme Court seats to nine.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I am a Constitutional Conservative, an America First Patriot, and a Christian. I believe we must reduce the size and scope of government to guarantee the maximum liberties for our own citizens, protect our borders, only send our sons to fight in wars when absolutely necessary, and bring vital industries back to the United States. I believe Christians should be free to exercise their faith in every part of their life without fear of government harassment.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The central organizing principle of the United States is ordered liberty and the role of our federal government is to promote those freedoms. Our government also has a duty to protect our citizens both at home and domestically from threats, secure our borders, and ensure that the individual states do not impose restrictions on our freedom.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
The far-left have become masterful in how they've preyed on children, especially on young women. In 49 states, there's been a rise of young women who have become victims to gender dysphoria demanding surgery and hormone therapy. The government must come in and stop this child abuse.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
It is evil and unconscionable to allow taxpayer funds to provide gender transition services for minors.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again Christian and have been for most of my life. My Christian faith is ultimately what guides by beliefs and decision making.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We should not live in a country where you need a voter ID to buy an alcoholic beverage, cigarettes, and lottery cards but not to vote. The left is constantly crying that our democracy is under threat by Donald Trump but do not ensure our ballots are secure. This is a no-brainer: every state should mandate voter ID to cast a ballot.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
The United States is the only country in the world that has allowed people from every walk of life to come here and succeed regardless of their race, religion, sex, or nationality. I am deeply offended by any claim that the United States is racist. CRT is a social cancer that needs to be abolished not only in the federal government but in any university or corporation that receives federal tax dollars.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Men and women are unique and different and female spaces need to be protected. Biological men have should have their own spaces as well. Denying that biological sex isn't real is one the most ludicrous arguments being made by the political left.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
Forcing Americans to buy products they don't want and spending billions of dollars on green energy companies that are not profitable isn't saving the planet. It's corporate cronyism. It also makes absolutely no sense to make demands of Americans while we allow nations with much larger populations like China and India to open up new coal burning factories.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Drill baby drill. America must increase domestic energy production by using the resources we have at home. This includes reinstating the Keystone XL pipeline, increasing drilling, fracking, and replenishing our SPRs that Joe Biden depleted.
