QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

I do not believe that the school system should play any major role in an unwanted/crisis Pregnancy. The teenage girl should be given the same opportunity for instruction that any other child would receive rather that mean going online or staying in class for her studies.

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

God's word makes it clear that before we were he knew us. Psalm 139:13-16 and Jeremiah 1:5,

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

I do not agree that a college education should be free. Some people, like myself, saved up and paid our way through college so that we would have no/minimal college debt. If we continue to allow our government to pay for everything it will do nothing but cause people to become more and more reliant on the government (which they want) and will teach our children that everything is free and in return set them up to fail in the real world.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I do not believe so. Teachers are people like anyone else, if the state mandated that homosexuality be taught in schools the teacher should absolutely have the right to say no, I will not be teaching that. But, at the same time the teacher should not add their own opinions into the curriculum from the opposing side.

EDUCATION

Abortion and gender transitioning providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Disagree

Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.

Strongly Agree

Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?

Yes

If you are a taxpayer, you should have access to anything given out in a public school system.

Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.

Strongly Agree

I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Strongly Disagree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I believe each state and community should have the say in what the kids of that school system are being taught. The parents know what's best for their children and should be able to have a say in what's being taught.

If a member of the public flags (challenges) a book as inappropriate and the school board disagrees, should the board impose a moratorium on when the book can be challenged again? If yes, for how long?

No. If a parent challenges a book and the school board believes it is okay, a parent the next day should be able to challenge the book again. School boards should remember that they work for the people and if you have enough parents upset about a book to the point it keeps being challenged over and over, it needs to be removed no matter if the School Board believe it to be appropriate or not.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, American History, Civics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Arts and Music

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Parents should be allowed to pick where their children go to school. If public schools are not the best choice for their children, then the parents should be able to put their children in whatever school they desire, and the money should follow. If Public schools are no longer the gold standard, then the school board should have a hard conversation into why that is and fix the problem. Competition is a good thing!

Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?

equality of opportunity

Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.

(A) Opt-In

Who should make decisions about whether or not a book is appropriate for children? A) the elected school board members; B) an outsourced community committee

B) an outsourced community committee

VALUES

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm a Christain who is constitutionally and fiscally conservative. I believe in a Triune God. I believe that Jesus was fully God and Man at the same time. I believe that he came to the earth and lived a sinless life that you and I could not live, and died a death to fill a void that we could not fill, so, that if we accept him as our lord and savior we can then die and go to heaven, a place that we do not deserve, and spend the rest of eternity with him. I believe that this gift is free, the Bible says in Romans 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. I believe that my God is the only living and true God who is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. I believe that the bible is Gods living and unfoulable word.

Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.

Strongly Agree

Child mutilation is wrong. We wouldn't let a child cut off their fingers or toes so why allow them to make these kind of decisions.

If sexual education is taught in schools, what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?

I believe a basic sex education is okay in middle school by explaining what's going on, or about to start going on, with your body. Anything else being taught should be taught in high school with parents opting their children in, but the parents should be the ones who are leading these conversations at home.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.

Strongly Agree

School children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming including drag shows and explicit materials with pictures of sex acts and graphic language.

Strongly Agree

It is a sad day in America when we have a conversation about it being appropriate to have drag shows and other mess in/on school property! Shame on us for letting it get to this point.

Should schools be giving instruction on how to engage in sexual acts, the pleasures of sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity or should they instead focus on educating students about the science of reproduction?

Schools should educate on the science of reproduction.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree
