QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including funds for “family planning,” contraception, or abortion counseling).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

While in a perfect world we wouldn't kill any unborn child under any circumstance, I do understand we do not live in a such a world. I personally would not go any further than rape, incest and life of the mother - however I would still like resources to be available to patients in these situations about the gift of bringing life into this world.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Regardless of what stage of life someone is in - be it fetal, premature or healthy full term - every child deserves a chance at life.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

Existing Federal laws that prohibit the interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

While I definitely do not believe that minimum wage should rise in correlation with cost of living (it's minimum wage, meant to impart skills to advance you in the work field), I would be open to an analysis of increasing the current minimum wage.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Apply the no-more-stringent law to all state agencies. This will lower spending by limiting regulation to the federal standard. Lower the cost considered substantial enough to trigger legislative ratification from its current $20M over 5 years to something closer to Florida's $1M over the same timeframe. Amend the state constitution to limit spending and spending growth.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

What I have always believed the intention of separation of church and state was involved the worship of the religion denoted by the state. In other words, the government would tell you what your religion is because you are an American. Along this way, it got twisted to mean that there can be no religion present in government. Obviously that was not the intent.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

We live in a country of free enterprise. No one should be required to provide a service for anyone else. I'm sure many people have seen the sign in most bars - "Bartender can deny you service for any reason at their discretion". Why is it ok for the bartender but not for the cake maker?

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

I am diametrically opposed to the government keeping a database of people for any reason. In this scenario, what would stop a rogue employee at, say CDC or HHS, from targeting specific people with certain illnesses? Government databases, while maybe good-intentioned, have too much potential for misuse.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

We should remove them from eligibility in the H1B program (we should remove the whole H1B program) and cancel the enrollment of all of their citizens in our higher education learning centers.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

This is a hard question to answer, and not because of current events. The Bible clearly states that those who are for His children in the land will be rewarded. The hard part is, there is now a secular Israel and an Orthodox Israel (still Torah observant). I fully support protecting the people of Israel. I don't blindly sign on to every military action though. It must be hard though, to know that every nation will come against you. The good news is, in the end - they win.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I believe that sanctuary cities violate federal law and the mayors of said cities should be arrested and put on trial.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

The DoE does nothing but route money to the states. In essence, they are the federal government's educational bag man. There will be no significant detriment to state education and a great advantage to both the federal government and to parents.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to transition a child to the opposite sex are harmful to that child and should be prohibited.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised in non-denominational churches by my mother, however I was brought up Catholic when I was very young. In adulthood, I have found Messianic Judaism. While the Judaism part scares a lot of people who aren't familiar, the basic premise is believing and following the Bible, believing in Yeshua (Jesus) and trying to save as many souls from the adversary as you can. I fall short every day, as many people do, but I know in my heart that I try and He sees that.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Proof of citizenship when registering for the first time and photo ID to vote each time. It is not a burden, everyone has an ID and if they don't, the State Board of Elections will give you a photo ID for voting purposes free of charge!

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

There is not a single living former slave in America. There is nobody to give them to. However, America paid reparations in spades, through affirmative action, minority scholarships and the plethora of other benefits only available to non-whites. If the reparations conversation was a serious one, those seeking reparations would seek them from those who enslaved and then sold their brethren.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

They never tell you who the "man" is. It's funny though, it seems to always wind up being arson. Also, they only seem to get caught after the affected state received their federal money to replace the state money they squandered.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

To remove dangerous people from society, for a set period of time, during which they hopefully receive guidance to become a productive member of society. That needs to happen in prison, not back out on the street. Someone who violently assaults someone for no reason needs the time to reflect on their actions.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Agree

While I don't agree with the way the government wants to go about it - requiring everyone to show ID to use the internet - I do believe that a certain amount of responsibility falls on the government, as they have access to tools and systems the majority of the public doesn't. When it seems there may be a pattern, like in Roblox, the government can act. The other side of the coin, however, is the responsibility of the parents to monitor and control what their children are accessing.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. Zero. Shall not be infringed. The ATF is an infringement and should be dissolved.
