There is no circumstance in which an elective abortion is legal in the state of Texas. Texas state law allows for the protection of the mother in the event of a life-threatening pregnancy and to prevent subsequent harm to future healthy pregnancies.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It's a lie, it is not part of the Constitution and the Founding Fathers held religion in very high regard, yet did not want the federal government driving a national religion. In other words, the separation of church and state means freedom of religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is a significant ally in the region. Additionally, Abram was promised the land of Canaan almost 4,000 years ago (Genesis 15:18) and America cannot let Israel fall to terrorists. Israel certainly has the right to protect themselves.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
The Administration forcing COVID-19 shots on the healthiest segment of the US population was a national security unforced error. Additionally, there is a reason military members wear a uniform, to build a team and teamwork. Now the military has divided itself along lines of race, gender, and pronouns, none of which has anything to do with fighting and winning our nation's wars. This will come to roost in a harsh way.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
It should not be the role of the government, schools, or employers to force any vaccine on a person. That is an individual choice.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, while federal programs should be directed at expanding the free market for healthcare options rather than federal approaches such as Obama Care. We need less big-pharma driving our health care coverage.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Lower taxes, lower debt, lower energy costs, fight inflation, massive deregulation, eliminate the death tax
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

The cartel is a proxy for China and the open border has allowed enough fentanyl (27,000 lbs '23) into the country to kill every American. Additionally, terrorists have infiltrated America via the open border and now we have the highest probability of a terrorist attack in the history of the US.

Non-adversary foreigners that have specific value to bring to the US and wish to be part of America versus create a miniature version of their country inside America's borders.

The Dpt of Education has experimented with doing everything but truly educating our nation's children. They continue to experiment with new ways to educate our children while emphasizing everything but reading, writing, and arithmetic. The average age of the team that put man on the moon was 25, they knew how to read, write, and do basic math without a calculator. Except adding technology, I wonder why we have changed our approach so drastically, every few years.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Absolutely none... "should not be infringed". Law-abiding citizens need to be protected against criminals by law enforcement officers. Criminals don't follow the laws/restrictions and citizens have the constitutional right to "keep and bear arms".

I am not, and cannot be perfect. Faith is a lifelong pursuit. I am a devout Christian and have raised my children in the church. Christ died on the cross for all of our sins. Faith alone, in Christ alone. We don't deserve His love and can't earn it. I'm an ordained deacon. Despite many in the church, our job is not to judge, that is for God to do. Our job is to love our fellow man.
