QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I fully support the right to life. I strongly believe the federal government has no authority to fund Planned Parenthood, or any other abortion provider/clinics. If these organizations are to exist, it must be dealt with and funded at the state and local level, which aligns with the Supreme Court ruling made in 2022.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Elective abortion is usually conducted within 20 weeks of gestation, and the procedure is performed for reasons other than maternal health or fetal disease. I think only when faced with cases of rape, incest, or in situations where the mother's life is in danger due to medically legitimate, life threatening complications, a decision must be made by a doctor and the patient.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
I believe the federal government should not play a role in deciding abortion laws. Getting the federal government involved in anything only complicates the matter, and further removes the ability for constituents to decide how they are governed. Turn the decisions over to state and local governments so constituents have greater authority to control laws made within their own state and local governments.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Conduct a full, and yearly audit of Congressional spending to ensure every dollar allocated ends up where it's supposed to go. If we stopped the massive amount of waste and fraud within Congressional spending, we could turn this country around.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
Our problem is not student loan forgiveness. To resolve this matter for good, it's time to stop providing billions of dollars in stimulus to these major institutions, while they simultaneously set outrageously high tuition costs, and participate in loan practices that make the Mafia jealous. Most of these institutions have billions in trust accounts. They must significantly lower tuition cost, or the free federal money faucet comes to an end. They do not get to have both any longer.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
Absolutely not. We have to fight against the rot and corruption which is inherently tied to ESG ideology. It is clear the people pushing these ideas only do so for their own self enrichment, and it all ends up in the pockets of the elite on Wall Street.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It provides a "wall" of protection so citizens can freely practice and hold ideas that do not align with government policy. It means the government cannot force it's citizens to make decisions, disqualify them from jobs, public office, etc., because of their religious beliefs.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I think if any institution wants to mandate a vaccine, they must also relinquish their ability not to be sued if medical complications arise from the mandated vaccine. As the saying goes, "put your money where your mouth is."
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Our healthcare system is broken. I do not believe in defunding Medicaid or Medicare, but I believe we need to reinvent most of the system. Congress must consult with nurses, doctors, etc., that work within the system for a living. They understand the system from a caregiver standpoint, and they understand the "backroom" processes. We must remove the death grip that big pharma and insurance companies have over healthcare, and rebuild our system based on common sense.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
The United States has become too involved in foreign nations that most people can't find on a map. We should remain focused on issues within our own country, unless there is a direct threat to our national security. We have too many problems to deal with in our own house. We can't afford to continue playing "big brother" for the entire world. We have spilled too much blood, and spent too much treasure trying to solve the world's problems. "Speak softly, and carry a big stick."
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
In 2023, the US was hit with a record number of cyber attacks, which compromised large amounts of highly sensitive data from both the government and private sectors. Let's not forget, Biden allowed a Chinese surveillance balloon to collect vast sums of data from our nuclear missile bases. China now also has a state-of-the-art cyber warfare base in Cuba, 90 miles off the coast of Florida. This is an urgent matter of national security.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
I believe the United States' relationship with Israel is very important, and they have been a crucial, strategic ally for many years. But, as I stated in a previous answer, we cannot continue to send tens of billions of dollars overseas while our own people are suffering and living in poverty. I am not opposed to providing aid to any nation, including Israel, but we must take care of our own people first.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
We have allowed toxic bureaucracy to penetrate every part of our military. Instead of training our soldiers to be warriors armed with the best technology and weaponry, we have instead focused on issues that are absolutely trivial when viewed through the lens of national defense. We must reject the "woke" ideology being pushed down from the highest levels, and return our focus to the defense of this nation.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We currently have approximately 10-12,000 illegal migrants crossing the Southern Border on a daily basis, and this is just the "known" entries. We have no idea how many people are entering illegally, and never "check in." It is clear, the Biden administration not only approves of this invasion, but they are directly enabling the cartel's to establish human trafficking routes. Without a border, we have no country. And right now we don't have a border.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any individual should have the opportunity to immigrate into the US after completing all necessary background checks and legal requirements as defined by the law. Immigration can be a great thing, but it must be done LEGALLY.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
As a general rule of thumb, I believe removing the federal government's control over a vast majority of our organizations is a good thing. Less federal government is better.
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
As the saying goes, "preach the gospel at all times, and if necessary, use words."
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Common sense. Strong voter ID laws are essential to ensuring fair elections.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
I believe climate change exists, but it is not an existential crisis. I think it's common sense to pursue better, more efficient, and cleaner power sources. However, the vast majority of officials pushing "green energy" solutions could care less about climate change. They push climate change, but seek total control.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
I believe America must open itself back up to nuclear power. France, along with several other nations, power their country almost exclusively with nuclear power. We had bad accidents long ago, but we must rediscuss using new nuclear technology.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Ronald Reagan once said, "the nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help." I believe our government should serve as a conduit between the people and the critical institutions which belong to the people. Essentially, the government should only exist to serve the people through an administrative role.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
We should provide police departments with more funding! Our law enforcement officials have some of the toughest jobs on the planet. Everyday, they are put into high stress situations that most citizens will thankfully, never understand. Just like our military, police officers should constantly be exposed and trained in a variety of high stress situations to make sure they perform at the highest level, in any situation.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I do not believe we need more restrictions on gun ownership. I believe the 2nd amendment is one of the most important rights Americans have. As a wise man once told me, "a handgun is for personal defense, and a rifle is for civil defense." I believe we should promote and incentivize gun safety and training at a higher level through range time or field training. Not as a restriction, but to further solidify the 2nd amendment, and to ensure every gun owner can operate a firearm responsibly.
