QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Elective abortion means abortion on demand. Women whose life is at risk is not elective and is such a tiny number.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
The Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court created an expectation of at-will abortion in this country. I’m glad Roe was overturned, and this issue was returned to the states. No tax payer funds should ever be used to subsidize abortions. A federal law limiting abortion to “fertilization to six weeks,” which 16 states currently mandate, would be a good start…
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Reduce spending and taxes so that the government is taking less of Americans' income and wealth. Avoid new taxes. Avoid new bond issues at the state level. Avoid unlimited funding commitments to causes such as the war in Ukraine.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
That statement does not appear in the constitution. Our constitutional fathers did not foresee any problem having a religious society as long as the population was not forced to practice a religion. There’s also nothing wrong with saying prayers in school as long as the state is not forcing somebody to do it. A Judeo Christian society is a healthy society.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
There should be medical and personal exceptions for any vaccines.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B: If you add up Medicare, Medicaid, government employees and military pensions, more than half of the people in the U.S. are already receiving government health care. Everyone else is a chump who pays too much for insurance and who lives in fear of losing his job and insurance. We need to work toward standardizing these various programs into something taxpayers can afford. Work towards a national insurance option to provide bare-bones healthcare while keeping a flourishing private insurance sys
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C. We spent $4.1T on wars in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. We cannot afford this, and we have many urgent problems in this country to deal with. We cannot impose freedom on people at the point of a gun. We have no business lecturing other countries about women's’ rights or the benefits of homosexuality. This was illustrated in Afghanistan, where the U.S. spent a fortune building schools for women, which were then burned down by the Taliban. We do not need 900 military bases around the world.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
America’s relationship with Israel is worth reviewing. Israel is a foreign country that pursues its own interests, and the U.S. should do the same. The principles of self-determination agreed upon in the wake of World War II demand that all peoples’ rights be respected. Any aid delivered to Israel by the U.S. should be done with American strategic interests in mind. It is entirely possible that any aid could be cut without harm to the US or Israel.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
U.S. citizens no longer believe in the moral worthiness of America’s wars. Military age men are aware of the lies that led to the Iraq and Vietnam Wars. Confidence in the military is in decline for decades. People have watched as the U.S. Army lowered fitness standards to allow women to qualify, and they have seen the pro-homosexual advertising. Overseas, polls show that most countries fear, rather than respect, America. Troops are aware of these attitudes when they deploy.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We must secure the border. Over 8 million people have entered our country illegally in the past several years. We must stop the invasion and determine who is here, create an environment where people self deport or be deported. Until we know who is here, and for what purpose, we cannot allow anyone else into the country. I am calling on an immigration moratorium until we can determine who is here. We must use a merit-based immigration system. End birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I became a Christian two years ago when I attended a cavalry chapel to support the church because it was open during Covid. I really liked what I was hearing and I kept attending and I accepted Jesus as my savior. At the same time 3000 miles away my daughter was saved as well and the miracle was that we were able to come together in the summer and attend church together. I say, God nagged me until I finally opened my eyes and ears. I am forever grateful.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Currently, the most reliable source of energy is petroleum. However, that does not mean that we should not continue researching and investigating other sources of energy.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To provide for security of the population. To organize society and to provide for the ability of the citizens to prosper to the best of their abilities.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
NO
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
NO
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. The second amendment pretty much says it all so I don’t think we need to restrict anything.
