Abortion is a controversial issue because we have drifted away from teaching our children abstinence. When abstinence programs are implemented in public schools unexpected pregnancies decline significantly. I am pro-life. Life begins at conception. Families considering an elective abortion should carry the baby to term and utilize adoption as the option instead of abortion. I am opposed to abortion from conception and it is never okay to take an innocent human life.
