QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

My "agree" rating is because artificially created embryos cannot survive the womb without expensive manmade intervention. If they are God's, what purpose does it serve Him to maintain frozen embryos?

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Solely to protect the mother's life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

In terms of funding, abortion is a state issue. As a candidate for Congress and a Texan my position is no federal or Texas tax dollars to go to fund abortions in any manner.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

Given abortion is a State issue, states deserve the right for their policies to be protected from the interstate transportation of drugs in violation of their laws.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are foundations of a productive and prosperous economic system. They are the core principles our nation was founded and which have driven its historic success.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Neutral

Higher income taxes on the rich and corporations end up being passed onto the consumers for the services they provide. I believe income taxes should be replaced with consumption based taxes such as Tariffs. In the absence of income tax abolition, I believe progressive taxation is fair and appropriate.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Cuts in spending can be achieved by aggressively eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare/Medicaid and other entitlement programs. Foreign aid should be restructured as loans tied to meaningful, measurable outcomes and strict accountability measures.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1) Aggressively combat fraud, waste, and abuse in government entitlement programs. Estimated to be $230-250 billion. 2) Streamline (DOGE) the procurement and contract process to create efficiency and eliminate duplication. Estimated $500 billion 3) Reduce bureaucratic red tape and overhead, dissolve unnecessary agencies and programs, and repeal excess regulations.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state isn't in the Constitution, but Thomas Jefferson called is a "wall" against the government involving itself in religion and keeping free speech for churches.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

The government should never infringe on right to privacy and no person should have their medical history in any database without explicit permission.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. That said, the government should loan money to projects that have objective outcome and meaningful and measurable results that contribute to the promotion of individual freedom and are positive economically to the US.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party is the greatest foreign threat facing the US at this time.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The relationship to Israel is crucial. They are our top strategic military partner, sharing intelligence and technology that keeps America dominant. From a Judeo-Christian view, Israel is the apple of God's eye.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

Islamic terrorism is a security threat both at home and abroad. 9/11 is the example we all know, but there are lone wolf attacks and overseas networks always in operation. Vigilance and preemptive counter strikes remain necessary.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I support the Republican Party platform completely on immigration. Immigration should be "merit-based." Immigrants from Islamic, communists or socialist countries should be denied entry in the absence of fully vetted and verifiable background checks. Beyond the platform, immigration privileges' should be revoked for subversive anti-american conduct. Visa overstays should be penalized and never allowed to return to America.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Not only do I condemn sanctuary city polices, I am for withholding federal funds from any city declaring themselves as such.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Agree

If allowed to continue foreign funding of American education should require total transparency and reporting from the institutions, and penalties for non-compliance.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, meaning a sinner saved by grace. The bible guides my steps, and my values spring from it. I cherish the Constitution because is is grounded from those same truths.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely not. Photo ID's should be made stronger with proof of citizenship.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

No boys in girls bathrooms!

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear for reliability and density. But oil and gas is the most affordable and reserves have remained at 50 year levels for decades. Wind and solar are only supplemental sources.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The current law bars felons and dangerously mentally ill. This is sufficient.
