RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I choose to discuss this in more detail in person. However, I do support abortions in the most extreme situations. A girl's guardian, a woman, or biological parents should have the option to choose abortion if they become pregnant through rape, incest, or if a genetic disorder or congenital disability is confirmed. Additionally, the abortion option should come with proper counseling and consent of the victim, a guardian of the victim, or both parents. We do not want to end up like Oregon! Ask me

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Neutral

I choose to discuss this in more detail in person. However, I do support abortion drugs meeting safety standards, medical consultations, and required reporting to gather appropriate evidence. Additionally, I support that taxpayer dollars or insurance fund no abortion drug or procedure; all such drugs and procedures should be a financial burden of the individual alone.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

I watched multiple family members die from cancer in a hospice, many of them pleading to go as they were in pain, didn't know who they were, and didn't want to remember their last days in so much suffering. I support assisted suicide and euthanasia only if one has the proper state of mind and has been diagnosed with an untreatable and fatal illness. However, I am open to discussion with medical professionals and community members to determine the best laws to support, create, and implement.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

No taxpayer dollar or insurance should fund any abortion drug or procedure; all such drugs and procedures should be a financial burden for the individual alone.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise is the cornerstone of economic prosperity, providing citizens unparalleled economic and personal freedom. It achieves this by recognizing private property rights, incentivizing innovation and competition, and limiting the role of government. These fundamental principles of free enterprise are indispensable to any thriving economy.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Each locality must reconsider and adjust the minimum wage appropriately to align with its original purpose of providing compensation that covers fundamental living expenses. Further discussion is required.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Choose not to answer

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

There should never be a situation in which the government mandates the closure of churches. Churches are led by their leadership and should be allowed to make decisions based on their faith. The house of God should not be interfered with by the government.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Should religious schools which accept state funds be allowed to only admit families and students who agree to adhere to their statement of faith?

Choose not to answer

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B) This option closely matches my view on healthcare.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

After proper research on vaccination side effects, individuals should have the choice to be vaccinated. The COVID-19 pandemic emphasizes the need for thorough evaluation.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The United States has a longstanding relationship with Israel, which is built on shared values of democracy, freedom, and human rights. This relationship dates back to World War II, during which the US invested heavily in Israel. As a result, the two countries have an annual bilateral trade of 20 billion dollars. This mutually beneficial relationship has had positive impacts on both countries, both economically and politically.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Parents must be empowered to make an informed decision regarding their child's education. Thus, they should be able to choose their child's most suitable learning environment, with the accompanying tax allocation.

VALUES

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

It is essential to ensure that individuals who are considering gender-altering surgery receive proper evaluation and counseling before making a decision. In terms of funding, I support having individuals cover the costs of the surgery themselves after careful consideration and discussion with healthcare professionals.

No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent unless an emergency situation arises risking immediate death.

Strongly Agree

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our children is of paramount importance. Written consent from a parent or guardian must be obtained to maintain a clear record of accountability. This approach helps to establish that a responsible adult was present and fully understood the circumstances involved.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Ensuring the well-being and contentment of our young ones should be our utmost priority. It is imperative to provide them with accurate information about gender identity based on scientific research and motivate them to accept and celebrate their individuality as bestowed by the Divine. Additionally, it is crucial to discourage any practices that could potentially harm their mental or physical health.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage holds great significance across various religions and is often regarded as a sacred union between a man and a woman. It is a deeply personal matter that is considered to be ordained by a higher power. While governments have their laws and regulations, it is essential to respect marriage's spiritual and cultural significance.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a man of faith, I strive to uphold the values placed upon us through the Ten Commandments. I understand that all humans are susceptible to sin, so I pray daily to live my life according to the teachings of my Lord and Savior. As a father to a young son, I take my responsibility seriously and endeavor to be a positive role model, guiding him toward a life grounded in faith and morality. I am grateful for the guidance and strength my faith provides me, and I trust my Lord to keep me on the right path.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

Voting absentee by mail ballot should be limited to those meeting at least one of the following criteria: 1) 65 years of age or older on Election Day, 2) sick or disabled, 3) expecting to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day, or 4) confirmed to be absent from the county of registration during voting.

Strongly Agree

As responsible citizens, we must prevent mail-in voter fraud without inadvertently suppressing voters’ rights. Furthermore, it may be worthwhile to explore the possibility of expanding the availability of absentee voting to our service members who are serving abroad.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I believe reverse racism is more of a threat than actual racism is at this point. Yes, some people are racist still. However, they are slim in today's society, workplace, etc. We see more if you're not a black or brown person than you are against me, and I believe that is just as wrong. BLM is a strong example; this group has expertly divided the country for years.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I understand that there are differing opinions on the topic. Still, it is essential to note that many institutions strive to evaluate individuals based on their merits and achievements rather than their race or ethnicity. While there may be instances where bias exists, it is crucial to approach each situation with an open mind and a commitment to fairness and equality for all.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
