Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
While I personally would not have an abortion, the voters of the 8th congressional district in Ohio voted in favor of allowing abortion. When listening to the voters and many I was surprised that they voted in favor, they did not like abortion was not allowed for any reason. This is what I heard from the voters of the 8th Congressional District say as to circumstances to allow an abortion: When the life of the mother is endangered or before 15 weeks.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
Yes, we do not pay with federal funds for abortions. We need to provide education on how not to get pregnant. Life stories from people who have had abortions and regret having it. Teaching the realities of pregnancy at an early age and birth control options. Educate.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Control federal spending and audit government departments and control their spending. Remove the cap for Collection of Social Security Taxes on wages. Do not increase tax rates and work to get people back to work.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

The Colleges and Universities should be responsible for lending as their endowments in many cases are so large people could go to college for free for decades before their endowments are depleted.

We care about facts not public opinion on social issues. We should not spend public money on the whims of a particular moment.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The church should stay out of politics and politics stay out of church. The right to practice our faith or not practice a faith is the foundation of American freedom. Our government is not prohibited from referencing religion, nor is our government compelled to rid all religious references from the public.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
We hear my choice my body on the abortion issue...my choice my body on the vaccination issue should apply. A private business and private school can do whatever they want on these issues. We need to be consistent.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Yes, they have been a strong ally, but we need to be careful not to take a blind eye as to what is really happening in the Gaza Strip and all potential conflicts around the world. We need to learn from history that violence does not solve the differences.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
Young people do not want to die or suffer catastrophic injuries defending their country. They do not see the importance of defending our freedom. They do not want the family and life stress associated with joining the military.

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

It is more than a wall. We need toto deal with the leadership and the cartels running the countries they are coming from.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who have maintained lawful permanent resident status for five years. It will provide stability to young people and their families nationwide and include those who are already permanent residents or citizens, and it will shore up the future of our country by ensuring that the next generation of leaders and essential workers can stay in this country.

I agree with revamping the Department of Education as it stands today. The States should oversee the educational System in their state. The revamped US Education Department would help develop standards and track students' progress and assist the K-12 districts which do no have the funding base necessary to provide a education that more affluent states can provide.

I wake up every morning and pray for our Country as we have gotten off track. I follow the 10 commandments and I know that with God being with me that I have made it through the many challenges the world has thrown my way. It is with the Lord's guidance that my family has made it this far. My 6 children are all productive members of society. We recently had our faith tested with the loss in December of my 2 mth old grandson from SIDS. Our faith is carrying us through this difficult loss.

Yes, Back in 2008 I plead to Conspiracy in federal court. As President Trump is going through the same injustice that I experienced, in a system that is too expensive for the average American to defend themselves, in a system that has become a political weapon of destruction, in a system that all Americans should fear. President Trump said, "This Could Be You". Well, it was me. No proof of a loss, no proof of a conspiracy. This has to stop.
