QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Only to save the life of the mother.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

I am in favor of legislation to safeguard all life from conception to natural end.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The "separation of church and state" means the government doesn't control religion, but it doesn't exclude our Judeo-Christian heritage from influencing governance. As a Christian, my values shape my perspectives, respecting this principle while acknowledging faith's role in our nation's moral and ethical foundations.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Communist China poses a significant threat to the U.S. and our values. Their growing military power, economic manipulation, and disregard for human rights challenge our security and global freedom. We must confront and counteract China's aggressive actions to protect our nation and allies.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I stand firm in supporting Israel’s sovereignty and security, recognizing its right to self-defense and the need for robust U.S. support. I oppose the Iran nuclear deal, advocating for stronger sanctions against Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions and support for hostile entities. I’m committed to combating antisemitism and ensuring Israel’s security through increased military aid and cooperation. Our alliance with Israel is crucial for stability and peace in the Middle East.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

The decline in military recruitment is a result of the pervasive 'woke' policies of the left, which undermine our military's core values and mission. This, coupled with a growing lack of patriotism in our society, is deterring young Americans from serving. We must restore respect and pride in our armed forces.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Vaccines should not be mandated; they are a matter of personal liberty. Every individual has the right to decide what goes into their body. In a free society, personal health decisions should be made by individuals.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Healthcare policy should focus on reducing regulations and bureaucracy, making private healthcare more affordable and accessible. Government involvement should be limited to funding Medicare programs only, emphasizing the importance of personal choice and market competition in improving healthcare quality and cost-effectiveness.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

I have a comprehensive economic strategy designed to halt the spiraling inflation and shift America into the high gear of growth and prosperity which includes making the Trump tax cuts permanent. More details on our website.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Securing our border is crucial. I’ve developed the “America First Border Security Plan,” focusing on physical barriers, law enforcement support, technological advancements, and strict regulations. It’s a comprehensive approach to restore order and protect our nation. Learn more about my plan on my website.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Our immigration system needs reform, shifting from family-based to merit-based policies. We should prioritize individuals who align with an America First approach, focusing on skills and contributions beneficial to our nation. Refugees should be limited to low-risk individuals with values that resonate with ours, such as women and children seeking a safer life. This ensures a balanced, secure, and beneficial immigration policy.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support school choice, empowering parents and communities in educational decisions. I will push for legislation to dismantle the federal Department of Education, redirecting those funds to state and local levels. This ensures tailored, effective education systems that meet the unique needs of every community.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

The Federal Department of Education's one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective. I propose dismantling it, reallocating its funds and decision-making power to states and localities. This shift empowers parents, teachers, and local school boards to tailor education to the specific needs of their communities. Local control is key to creating educational environments that genuinely nurture and develop our future generations.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Our nation doesn't need more gun laws; we need to uphold the Second Amendment, which clearly states our right to bear arms shall not be infringed. The real issue lies in addressing societal problems, not in restricting firearms. It's a matter of the heart and social responsibility. Strengthening communities and mental health support is key, not additional gun control laws that fail to address the root causes of violence.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

“The framers of the Constitution were so clear in The Federalist Papers and elsewhere that they felt an independent judiciary was critical to the success of the nation.”—Sandra Day O’Conner”

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The government's role is to provide national defense, ensure justice, and foster a fair competitive environment in the least intrusive way possible. Its function is to maintain order and equality of opportunity, allowing individuals to succeed based on merit and hard work, while minimizing unnecessary intervention in citizens' lives. This approach upholds freedom and personal responsibility.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No, never.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No, never.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

As someone blessed with over 24 years of marriage to an incredible wife, I deeply understand the importance of this union. Marriage forms the bedrock of a stable society, fostering values of commitment, responsibility, and mutual respect. It's a sacred bond that strengthens not just individual families, but our communities and nation as a whole. Upholding the sanctity and significance of marriage is essential in nurturing a healthy, prosperous society.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

We have a duty to safeguard our children from harm. Subjecting minors to gender transition procedures is a form of child abuse that we, as a society, must firmly oppose. It's critical to protect the physical and mental well-being of children from irreversible decisions made at such a vulnerable age.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

It's appalling that the recent National Defense Authorization Act permits the use of taxpayer funds for gender transition services. I firmly believe these funds should be allocated to essential services that benefit the broader public. Taxpayer money should not be directed towards individual gender transition procedures, as it diverges from the fundamental purpose of public funds: to serve the collective needs and security of our nation.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith as a Christian deeply influences my life and leadership style. Guided by the teachings of the Bible and Jesus Christ, I prioritize servant leadership, putting the needs and well-being of others before my own. This approach stems from my belief in compassion, integrity, and selflessness, as taught in my faith. While I respect various beliefs, my decisions are rooted in Christian principles, focusing on serving others and leading by example. My faith provides a moral compass, ensuring my actions reflect the love and teachings of Christ, especially in serving and leading my community.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Critical Race Theory, in my view, is a divisive approach that detracts from our goal of unity and equality. It promotes a narrative that can deepen divisions within our society. I believe in addressing historical and current inequalities constructively, without resorting to ideologies that potentially pit citizens against each other. Our focus should be on building a future where everyone, regardless of race, has equal opportunity to succeed based on merit and hard work.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Allowing biological men to compete in women's sports undermines the integrity of women's athletics and is an unfair disadvantage to female athletes. This policy disregards the physical differences between the sexes and diminishes the achievements and opportunities of women in sports. We must protect the rights and competitive spirit of female athletes.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Fossil fuels are currently our most reliable and efficient energy source. While exploring new technologies is valuable, we shouldn't disregard these proven resources that effectively meet our energy needs and drive economic stability.
