QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
As a committed Christian and grassroots Republican running for Governor, I believe taxpayer dollars—at the federal, state, or local level—should never fund organizations that perform abortions, including Planned Parenthood. Funds should prioritize true healthcare needs, family support, and alternatives that protect life, without subsidizing abortion services (even indirectly through programs like Title X). Texas families deserve better use of their hard-earned money.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Elective abortion should never be allowed. As a committed Christian, I believe life begins at conception and is sacred. Texas must fully protect the unborn with no exceptions for elective procedures. In rare cases threatening the mother's life, doctors should save both lives through treatment, not intentional abortion. Support mothers via crisis pregnancy centers, adoption, healthcare, and childcare—building a true culture of life.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Human life is sacred and deserves full legal protection from the moment of conception until natural death. As a committed Christian running for Governor, I will champion policies that defend the unborn, support mothers and families, and uphold the dignity of every Texan at all stages of life—no exceptions, no compromises. Texas must lead as a true pro-life state.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
Human life begins at conception—whether naturally or through artificial methods like IVF—and deserves full legal protection from purposeful destruction. As a committed Christian running for Governor, I believe every embryo is a unique human being with inherent dignity. Texas must safeguard these lives, while supporting ethical alternatives and families pursuing parenthood. No exceptions for intentional destruction.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
As Governor, I will fully support the enforcement of the Comstock Act without apology. Chemical abortions bypass oversight, endanger women, and end innocent lives. Enforcing it saves unborn children and protects mothers. Texas leads on life—no compromises.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
No state minimum wage—free market sets fair pay. Good companies pay competitively to attract talent. Mandates kill entry-level jobs, hurt small businesses, raise prices, and drive automation. As Governor, I will veto any increase.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Free enterprise and private property are essential to prosperity. As Governor, I'll defend property rights, eliminate property taxes via the Freedom Fund, cut regulations, and unleash new industries. Texas succeeds when government stays out and individuals thrive.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Top 4 priorities to eliminate government waste: Eliminate property taxes via Freedom Fund (Cultivate Texas Act & Texas Freedom Act revenues). Full audit/overhaul of state agencies—cut redundants, sunset non-essentials. End corporate welfare and crony subsidies. Implement zero-based budgeting statewide.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
"Separation of church and state" means government cannot establish an official religion, force religious practice, or favor one faith over others. It protects religious freedom—letting churches thrive without state interference and keeping government neutral. As a Christian Governor, I'll defend this: no state religion, but full protection for faith in public life, prayer, and religious expression. No secular censorship of belief.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
No Texan—individual or business—should be forced by government to provide services that violate their deeply held moral or religious beliefs. This is core religious freedom and free speech protection. As Governor, I'll defend conscience rights fiercely: no mandates compelling bakers, florists, photographers, or anyone to participate in events or messages against their faith. Compelled speech or action is tyranny. Texas stands for liberty.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Medicaid and Medicare should remain for the needy and seniors. No new taxpayer-funded expansions. As Governor, I'll block any "Medicaid for All," cut waste in current programs, and lower costs through free-market reforms: competition, tort reform, price transparency. Affordability via freedom fund—not more government.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Government should never create or maintain databases tracking citizens' ongoing medical illnesses for "economic burden" assessment. This violates privacy, invites abuse, and opens the door to rationing care, discrimination, or worse. Medical records stay between patients and doctors—period. As Governor, I'll fight any such overreach fiercely. Texans' health data is none of government's business.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
The CCP poses severe military, cyber, IP, and economic threats to America. My Texas Sovereignty Acts will ban CCP-linked entities from owning Texas land or infrastructure. Texas won't fund or host our enemies—we'll lead against CCP influence.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, the U.S.-Israel relationship is vital. Israel is America's strongest Middle East ally: shared democratic values, critical intelligence/counterterrorism cooperation, joint tech/military innovation, and a strategic counter to Iran and threats. As Governor, I'll support Texas-Israel ties—economic, security, faith-based—without apology. Texas stands with Israel.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
Sanctuary cities undermine the rule of law, shield criminal illegal aliens, and endanger Texans. As Governor, I'll ban sanctuary policies statewide, fully cooperate with ICE, deport criminals, and secure our border. My Texas Sovereignty Acts will protect our state from illegal immigration chaos. Texas welcomes legal immigrants—no sanctuary for lawbreakers.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
The U.S. Department of Education is unconstitutional federal overreach that bureaucratizes schools, pushes ideological agendas, and wastes billions. As Governor, I'll fight to eliminate it entirely—return full control to states, communities, and parents. Texas will lead with school choice, local accountability, and funding via the Cultivate Texas Act—not Washington mandates. Education thrives with freedom, not federal control.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments must be prohibited from funding Texas education. No propaganda or influence from hostile regimes like China or Qatar in our schools. My Texas Sovereignty & Influence Shield Act and Texas Sovereignty Defense Act will block foreign entities from owning land/infrastructure—and extend to banning their funding in education. Texas curriculum for Texans only.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Parents—not government—have the fundamental right and duty to direct their child's health, education, and upbringing. As Governor, I'll defend parental rights fiercely: expand true school choice, block mandates overriding parental consent on medical/educational decisions, and ensure no state interference in family choices. Texas empowers parents, not bureaucrats.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex—through puberty blockers, hormones, surgeries, or social affirmation mandates—constitute child abuse. Children cannot consent to irreversible, experimental procedures that sterilize and harm healthy bodies. As Governor, I'll ban these practices in Texas, protect kids from this ideology, and defend parental rights while ensuring real care for confused youth. No child abuse in the name of "gender affirmation."
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred union of one man and one woman—rooted in Scripture and natural law. No government has authority to redefine it. As Governor, I'll defend traditional marriage, protect religious freedom for faith-based ceremonies, and oppose any mandates forcing recognition of other definitions. Texas honors God's design.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Agree
I support limited gambling expansion via my Texas Freedom Act: four Texas-owned coastal destination resorts (Galveston, Corpus Christi, South Padre, Port Aransas) with regulated casinos and sports betting. Ironclad oversight, addiction programs—revenue funds infrastructure, seawalls, schools, and property tax cuts. Keeps Texas dollars in Texas, creates jobs—no broad unchecked expansion.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a committed Christian. I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, Jesus Christ is the Son of God and only way to salvation, and life is sacred from conception. My core values: faith, family, freedom, personal responsibility, and the sanctity of life. These guide everything—my campaign, policies, and service to Texas. God first, Texas strong.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Voter photo ID is essential to secure elections and prevent fraud. Texas already requires it—and it's common-sense protection that doesn't suppress legitimate votes (free IDs available for those in need). As Governor, I'll strengthen voter ID laws, ensure clean rolls, and fight any attempt to weaken election integrity. Only citizens vote in Texas—once.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations based on race are unconstitutional, divisive, and unfair—punishing people today for sins of the past while ignoring individual responsibility. No Texan should be taxed or benefited solely because of skin color. As Governor, I'll oppose any race-based reparations or policies. True justice means equality under the law, opportunity for all, and unity—not government-mandated racial discrimination. Texas judges people by character and merit, not race.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Biological males should not participate in women's sports or enter women's private spaces (bathrooms, locker rooms, sororities, shelters, prisons). Fairness, safety, and privacy for biological women must be protected. As Governor, I'll ban males from female sports and spaces—no exceptions, no compromises. Texas stands for truth, biology, and women's rights.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
Man-made climate change is not a proven crisis requiring urgent action. Models have failed; extremes are natural. As Governor, I'll reject green mandates, protect affordable energy (oil/gas/nuclear), oppose carbon taxes. Texas leads with energy dominance—not fear-driven regulation.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear energy. Most reliable for growing demand: 93% capacity, 24/7 baseload, weather-independent. Proven, scalable. As Governor, I'll push new nuclear to power Texas reliably—AI, industry, homes. Texas leads with nuclear.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
My views—pro-life without exceptions, traditional marriage, strong borders, no minimum wage mandates, school choice, parental rights, religious liberty, Second Amendment absolutism, energy dominance, eliminating property taxes, rejecting climate alarmism, and standing firmly with Israel—are rooted in faith, freedom, and limited government. Texas needs bold, unapologetic conservative leadership. Very Conservative. No compromises.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been accused of, charged with, or penalized for sexual misconduct in any civil or criminal court—or in any other setting. My record is clean, and I have always conducted myself with integrity and respect toward others. As a committed Christian and family man running for Governor, I hold myself to the highest moral standards. Texas deserves leaders of unquestionable character.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been convicted of a felony. My record is clean—no felony charges, trials, or convictions ever. As a committed Christian family man and grassroots candidate for Governor, I have always lived with integrity and respect for the law. Texas deserves leaders of unquestionable character.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
Protect innocent citizens first—punish the guilty swiftly to deter crime. Deliver fair, proportional justice with equal treatment under law. Rehabilitate non-violent offenders where possible. Uphold personal responsibility and due process. As Governor: Back the blue, tough on violent crime, secure border, end revolving-door bail. For outdated laws (cannabis), focus on freedom via Cultivate Texas Act. Justice protects, punishes, restores—Texas safe and free.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Government has a clear responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation online—predators, pornography, grooming, and trafficking. As Governor, I'll push strict laws: require age verification for adult sites, hold Big Tech accountable for harmful content, fund enforcement against child exploitation, and ban drag shows/sexual content targeting minors. Protect innocence fiercely. No compromises.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law—or any foreign/religious system—must never be incorporated into U.S. or Texas law. Our laws rest on the Constitution and equality. My Texas Sovereignty & Influence Shield Act and Texas Sovereignty Defense Act ensure no foreign influence. Texas upholds only American law.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
No new restrictions. Second Amendment: shall not be infringed. Current laws (felons, domestic abusers, mentally adjudicated) are enough. No red flags without due process, no bans, no registries. As Governor, expand constitutional carry, protect gun makers. Public safety: prosecute criminals—not disarm citizens. Texas defends 2A fully.
