I also believe reasonable people can hold earnest beliefs regarding elective abortion in cases of rape and/or incest and am willing to accept legislative exceptions for abortion in such cases as long as legislation creating such exceptions has been enacted by the people's elected representatives in a duly-elected legislature.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
People have mistakenly interpreted Thomas Jefferson's 1802 "wall of separation" language to the Danbury Baptist Association to mean that religion must have no influence over political matters. Freedom of Religion is an inalienable right and the "wall of separation" was intended to affirm the free religious practice of all citizens and to keep the government from influencing religious practice, and not to keep personal religious practices separate from political considerations.

The U.S. Supreme Court has supported states' authority to make these decisions. I was against mandated vaccination requirements during COVID 19 and still am against vaccination requirements.

President Biden’s failure to secure the border is part of a broader goal of open borders pursued by radical progressives. President Trump’s border wall should be built as quickly as possible. It is an issue of national security and a violation of our sovereignty when people are allowed to enter the US illegally.

I am a strong supporter of school choice. My wife and I made the choice to home school our children and later our son graduated from a private Christian school. A child’s education is too important to limit him or her to a failing public school due to lack of funds. I will do all that I can to support voucher programs, scholarships, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schooling because I want everyone to have the same opportunity that my children had.

I subscribe to the same belief of our Founding Fathers and the Social Contract Theory. A government exists only to serve the will of the people who are the source of all political power enjoyed by the state. Our government should have a minimal role in the daily lives of citizens. We must provide for a national defense, public domestic safety and limited tax burdens.

We should never take away law abiding citizens constitutional 2nd Amendment rights because of criminals. We have a mental health crisis in this country- by and large from unprecedented amounts of illegal drugs coming across our southern border and more children than ever being prescribed at a younger age legal drugs that can have adverse side effects. People that have shown a history of mental illness with self-harm to themself or others should go through an extensive background evaluation.
