Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
In cases to save the life of the mother, that happens in an emergency room and not in an abortion clinic. Example: Tubal pregnancy that has ruptured and causing internal bleeding demands emergency surgery to save the mother's life.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

I needed to look up the Comstock Act so I could try to understand what it is was about. From what I could find, it looks like it is a federal law dating back to 1873.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
Vote NO on 832. I believe it would cause more employers to close their business or cut back on the number of employees they have, creating less entry level jobs where people could have a chance to move up to higher pay with on-the-job experience.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Ensure that individuals qualify for any government assistance programs that they apply for. Increase audits of government agencies to find waste, improper payments, and fraud. Look for areas of overlap in agencies and eliminate what is not a true need to accomplish what must be done.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Protection of religious freedom, including the right of the church to participate in public political activities. It is supposed to prevent government intrusion in religious beliefs or activities.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C I would have agreed with B, but it said government funded should be available for all WHO WANT IT, when it should be only for all who qualify for it.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

I worry about the privacy of the patients and have concerns with data tracking and data misuse. I do understand that there could be benefits from tracking. However, I believe that the individual right to choose to participate or not must always be protected.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, the relationship we have with Israel is important. Biblical meaning for many believers. Israel and the United States are strong allies who have shared values. We need a stable ally in the Middle East where there are quite a few countries with ties to terrorism and human rights are violated. Isreal has a strong military and defense technology that can be helpful to the United States.

I believe in God the father, Jesus Christ the son, and in the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died on the cross to save us from our sins and that on the third day he rose up from the grave and defeated death forever more. I believe that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior and repent of our sins that we become forgiven and are saved from an eternal life without God. I believe that the Holy Spirit is with us to help us live our lives in a manner that is pleasing to God. I love God and others and strive to show the love of God to everyone I meet. Do the right thing, keep your word, see a need- meet a need.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
To enforce our laws and deliver consequences that will deter society from law breaking and harming others. I also think that society would benefit from rehabilitated criminals so that we hopefully won't have so many repeat offenders. This will reduce costs of housing offenders in prison and give these individuals another chance at turning their lives around for the betterment of themselves and everyone around them.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

I believe the government should play a part in protecting children from this type of exploitation. There are many sick predators out there that prey upon children online. However, I believe the parent has a big responsibility to closely monitor their child's online activities.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
