Man has a sinful nature. Therefore, all governments, being run by human beings, tend to concentrate more power to themselves and seek to extract the maximum possible from the taxpayers over time. While governments may start off limited, the elected officials tend to dole out political favors to enhance their opportunities to remain in power.

Educational History: Some College, Broadcast Journalism School, Cato University, Acton University, Council of State Governments' Center for the Advancement of Leadership Skills (CALS) program, The National League of Cities' Silver Certificate of Achievement in Leadership Program and lots of direct experience. I was elected to the O'Fallon Board of Aldermen for five consecutive terms, starting in 1994 and then the Missouri House of Representatives for four terms. St. Charles County Central Committeewoman, elected for three terms, State Committeewoman and Chairman of the St. Charles County Republican Central Committee. Civic Involvement: I was appointed to serve as the Chairman of the legislative committee for the O'Fallon Business Association. I was on the Executive Board for the Lewis and Clark Pachyderm Club, Pure Hope---previously known as the National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families and currently serve as the Executive Director for the Center for Marri

17. What charitable, educational, religious, or political organizations have you been affiliated with as a member, contributor, or volunteer?

For nearly 24 years, my husband and I have given sacrificially to own and operate Back To Basics Christian Bookstore in our community. We have devoted our lives to providing a charitable, educational, religious and political organization where people from all over our region can find truth, encouragement and be fortified in the Faith. Our business is serving as a hub, resource and launching pad for other ministries. Church: I served several churches for decades in music ministry as a director, organist and pianist. I am currently a speaker for Stonecroft Ministries and my husband and I have been marriage facilitators for engaged couples. Political: I was elected to serve as the secretary one term and Vice-President for two terms for the First Capitol Federation of Republican Women. I was a member of the St. Charles County Pachyderm Club and on the executive board of the Lewis and Clark Pachyderm club.
