What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

I believe in positions of authority, it is often in man's nature to accumulate and gain power. This desire for power can in many instances lead to corruption and abuse of the public trust. Our founders designed our system to act as a check against concentrated power.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

In cases where potential harm to the mother is imminent.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a Christian, I believe in the Holy Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that the Son, Jesus, came to Earth as a human, born to a virgin. He was wholly God yet wholly man; human yet sinless. Jesus died on a cross, arose from the dead on the third day after His death, and later ascended into heaven to be re-united with Father God. Through this sacrificial act, Jesus made it possible (the only way possible) for any human to acknowledge His (Jesus’) sacrifice, the individual’s sin, and ask for forgiveness of that sin. Upon that acknowledgement/declaration, the individual is saved from eternal separation from God (the result of sin) and will enjoy eternity in the presence of God.
