QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I have had a number of friends who have had pregnancy where the baby is forming in the fallopian tube. I would be an advocate for "abortion" of these pregnancies to be reclassified. Short of that, I am going to pull abortion law as close to "pro-life no exceptions" as I can, then take it, with confidence that someone after me will finish the job.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

Based on the Dobbs decision the abortion conversation is at the state level. However, if the federal government reclaims the life issue as it did the liberty (slavery) issue in the 1800s, then I would be for it. And as "unpopular" as it may seem, I am devoted to be on the side of truth, and would vote for a nationwide ban.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

In today's economy, retaining wealth has less to do with reducing taxes and more to do with reducing inflationary robbery. Congress needs a balanced budget amendment. And it needs to wield its pursestrings power in ALL situations.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

I believe we have this backwards. It is not proper for the state to mandate its religious preference on the people, however, the religious preference of the people should be allowed to be present in the state. We have drifted so far from our founding in principle and virtue. I am inspired to turn this narrative back!

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

This is an extremely touchy topic. If someone cannot in good conscience provide services to another, then it should not be forced upon them. On the same token, I personally would choose to continue spreading truth in love. Do not sacrifice morality for financial gain, but if you have opportunity to spread truth and love in an uncomfortable situation, I unashamedly ask you to do so!

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Admittedly, I am softer on this than some other issues. If a vaccine is proved to be truly SAFE and effective, my children will receive it. If it is cultural mandate (ie COVID), I am not about it for either children or adults.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

A & B are certainly not proper solutions. Current economic structures are not accepting of option D. So I suppose I must side with "C" with an intent to move further towards "D." Healthcare and extending life are obviously good things, but as a nation we need to evaluate our over-medication tendencies. One example, we spent billions of dollars to develop a COVID "vaccine" our bodies figured it out in 72 hours. God created our bodies to be amazing. Our system would do well to recognize that.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I would fall in the mix of B and C. Help defend true democracy and American interests where the culture of the people lines up with "Republic" values.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. They are a primary ally in a place where America is generally unfavorable. Furthermore, they are an ally who does not constantly have their hand out.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

I have not been in the military to diagnose the root causes first hand, but if I may speculate its due to a lack of purpose, national pride, and discipline necessary to fulfill the obligations of a soldier. Thank you to all those who have served and continue to serve!

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

A full moratorium should be put on immigration. Perhaps then we would be inspired to actually tackle the issues that have been present since I was a child. We need immigration for our economy, but it should be legally and with assimilation. I would be an advocate for prioritizing the skill sets we need as a nation. If we had individuals and organizations willing to sponsor immigrants, I would give priority to those new neighbors.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Neutral

More conversation needs to be had on this issue, but my role at a federal level has less influence than state level races.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Back to the COMMUNITIES is important. I've talked to a number of conservative, non-union, public school teachers who do not love what is being mandated in Indiana. Ultimately, I would be a huge advocate for Classical Christian Education. Bring God back in schools, teach children about ultimate reality, and allow their worldview to be formed properly.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe Jesus Christ is on the throne of the universe. And I am committed to living like it.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Neutral

I need more data.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Fossil fuel are the most reliable energy source, but I am an advocate for energy independence, diverse, and renewable fuels.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I want to conserve that which was put in place by past progressives--Jesus, Socrates, Pluto.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

More detail needed. But the small departments I have met with are hurting for funding to meet basic needs.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

"Shall not infringe."
