Something that should be avoided because it focuses on race and it's not productive. Everyone should be treated equally.
Written parental consent (opt-in) must be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.

Misrepresentation of Title IX is a perfect example of the Department of Education's guidelines that is too high of a price to pay for federal dollars. Public schools should not mix different biological sexes at birth in bathrooms or locker rooms, but that is what the Department of Education is doing at our local level.

No because they go against Texas Penal Code 43.21 (a) and (b) concerning minors and obscene content. Currently these books are systematically approved by schools and some are part of curriculum in Cy-Fair ISD. Yes, currently in Cy-Fair ISD, parents must visit the school to view counselor lessons, which include videos. This is an undue burden for parents. The lead counselors in Cy-Fair ISD went to training that partner with radical organizations.
