QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life begins at conception and every child is a gift from God. When the mother’s life is endangered, including women that are facing ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages I support the current provision in law to prevent the death of the mother through a medical procedure.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Planned Parenthood should not be funded with funds from federal, state or local government. (including Title X grants).

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Louisiana’s outdated and overly complicated tax code is riddled with costly exemptions and deductions. According to various studies, Louisiana has the 14th most regressive tax code among the states. Louisiana’s tax code needs some serious work. We have the second highest average combined state and local sales tax rates are 9.55%. These factors influence business location and investment decisions, sales taxes are something within policymakers’ control that can have immediate impacts. We must elect representatives that understand the tax code and that are willing to change it.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We must evaluate funds distributed under House Bill 560 “Pet Projects Fund” it allows lawmakers to grab any leftover money. Many of the projects funded come with little to no details on how the money will be spent or what the money will be used for. Our spending is out of control, we must be transparent and accountable to the citizens of the state.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under NO circumstances should the government close churches.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstance should the government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations.

NATIONAL SECURITY

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any person that enters our country through lawful means, that has been vetted by authorities should be given a chance at a better life.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Pentecostal. I know that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (See II Timothy 3:15-17.) I know everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.) That Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly and worship God joyfully.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Our voter rolls must be forensically audited, removing those that are ineligible to vote, especially the deceased. We also need a backup system for voting, it has been proven that machines can be compromised.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am running for State Representative to represent every citizen that lives in District 74, there are no barriers allowed, not race, not religious, social, or personal belief. I am running to make sure every voice is heard and represented. I will propose legislation that encourages business to come to Louisiana, by modernizing the tax structure, eliminating the complexity of the insurance industry, making rates more affordable. I will fight for our resources by protecting our land and eco systems, starting with the rivers and streams. I will work with other state legislatures to improve our education system, decrease crime rates and most importantly I will make sure the rural areas of St. Tammany are represented. Making sure funds are no longer diverted from our area to the inner cities.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

The state should adequately fund mental health.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None, Guns are not the problem, dangerous people with guns are the problem.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Gambling should be limited to existing forms and should not be de-regulated or expanded.

Strongly Disagree

Children should be protected from sexualization on the internet, in public schools, and in the public libraries
