QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life of the Mother

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Repeal of the Franchise Tax, elimination of the State Income Tax

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Waste and redundancy including pointless regulatory boards.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Essential services such as access to purchasing food, fuel, and shelter that are available to the general public is one thing, to compel an artist or an event venue to create, work, and/or host something that conflicts with a moral and/or religious belief is another matter that is up to the individual.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

They can't.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

c) but with changes to ensure that there is not fraud and the creation of permanent dependency.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

People's right of assembly and free access to public facilities should not hinge on whether an individual is vaccinated. Nobody should be compelled to receive a vaccination to retain his or her job. People who have been dismissed from government posts over objections to the CVOID vaccination mandates should be entitled to return to their posts and receive compensation for their unjust termination.

NATIONAL SECURITY

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I have gone on two pilgrimages to the Holy Land. The fight against terror there is an every day reality for Israelis. We should not meddle in their attempts to provide safety and security for their citizens.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

what is happening now is treasonous.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We are a nation of immigrants. We should allow immigration but be selective on who comes in and determine whether individuals seeking to enter here potentially are sincere in wanting to be a part of the American dream or are more interested in an upgrade in lifestyle while harboring resentments against the country that took them in.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Our system has gone from failing to teach basics to centers of Marxist indoctrination. I don't know how anyone continues to send their schools to these institutions,.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Our rights comes from God not man,

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

it's all made up.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

In terms of the law, the SCOTUS managed to somehow claim that a Civil War era amendment permitted same sex marriage though it occurred to not one federal judge of legal scholar in the 140+ years since the 14th amendment was ratified. I supported the state constitutional amendment that passed by a wide margin.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

How to Hate Your Own Country 101 and guilt by lineage.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God and that Jesus is His Son and that Jesus' death and resurrection redeemed humanity. I believe that the Holy Spirit has inspired men and women to have great courage in preaching and witnessing the Christian faith during unthinkable ordeals in the time of the apostles through this modern era. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is not subject to reinterpretation to fit a modern secular society that seeks communion with a pre-Christian world. I attend Mass every weekend I am physically able and have worshiped God in all 50 states and over 30 countries, including Cuba where I made attending Vigil Mass in Havana the basis of my one day trip to the Communist island to witness Christianity and provide support to the church. Just weeks before the protests, I made a point of attending weekday Mass in Hong Kong and spent money in religious shops to support the church there. I have spent Christmas and Holy Week in Jerusalem and earlier this year walked the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday and shared the sights and sounds of pilgrims who did so on social media to share the experience via video feed with people who are unable to travel there. I believe there is a heaven and a hell and that there is Divine Justice for the wronged and the wrong doers in the next life. And the more I see Christians and Christianity targeted the more I witness the spiritual war that is taking place.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Ideally I would like to see early voting go back to absentee voting and there should be an election day and not an election week. However I believe the federal courts would like block any law that "limited access" to existing voting procedures. We should place close to attention to what occurs in other states and take the initiative to limit electoral games here in Louisiana.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Violence related to theft, drugs, and gang wars takes more lives in this country than ethnic motivated deadly assaults.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

I don't know as much on this issue as I would like and will make a point of studying it more if elected. I do support the petrochemical industry as a whole and the move away from so-called "fossil fuels" is lunacy.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

to protect the nation, our rights, commerce, and lives and property. Beyond these essential obligations to the nation, other matters are secondary though not necessarily unimportant.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I write for www.thehayride.com

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

We need to wage a new front on the war on opioid addiction to save souls and lives. There is no stronger Christian value than redemption.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Very few and I can't think of any new ones.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Gambling should be limited to existing forms and should not be de-regulated or expanded.

Strongly Agree

Casinos and video poker operators make themselves not their patrons rich.

Children should be protected from sexualization on the internet, in public schools, and in the public libraries

Strongly Agree

I am convinced there will be a push to lower the age of consent in some states in the near future. This should be opposed strongly in Louisiana even if only attempted here.
