What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
First, I would look to expand our economic prosperity and economy as a way to increase revenue, but when it comes to reducing spending I would first look at welfare programs and implementing strict eligibility criteria. I would then look to shrink the government bureaucracy, eliminating bloated agencies and make sure we are spending as efficiently as possible.

ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Government should uphold the rule of law, maintain public order, and provide a secure environment where citizens can thrive. It's essential for the government to ensure national security, enforce contracts, and oversee a fair legal system. While the government has a role in providing essential services such as infrastructure and defense, it should operate within limits to avoid infringing upon personal liberties and to promote self-reliance, individual responsibility, and a vibrant free-market economy so our states can have a flourishing economy.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
No government official is above the law. While I am against the unjust war on our nation's brave police officers, I believe if anyone commits an act outside of department policy they should be punished. Though what our police officers are facing right now is unjust attacks for acting within department policy and it needs to end.
