Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am 100% pro-life.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We need a simplified tax code that creates a pro-growth business environment that aids entrepreneurs and helps companies create new jobs. We need to work towards lowering the state income tax.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Without being in the conversations yet, I would explore a work requirement for certain types of government entitlement programs that would help get able-bodied people off government assistance and back in to the workforce. We need to scrutinize government spending like we do in our homes, or as I call it "kitchen table economics."
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

I do not believe the government should have the power to close churches. We should be able to freely worship as we please and the government should not interfere.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I am not for mandating vaccines, particularly for new vaccines that do not have a long historical track record. Parents should have access to information so they can make informed decisions on what's best for their child. Personally, my children have the traditional vaccines but it should be the parent's choice and people's health freedom must be protected.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

I am a born-again Christian and my family and I attend Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge. My faith is my foundation and my personal relationship with Jesus Christ is what has guided my life since I made the decision to follow Christ as a little girl. I was raised in a family where Godly values were a part of our everyday life and we were taught that serving in a local church and using your spiritual gifts while on this earth is critical in order to carry-out the plan of God. I believe that now more than ever we need people of conviction. We need people who will speak truth in love and live according to truth.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

I would oppose laws that weakened election integrity or that changed voting procedures within 6-months of an election.

I do not believe that racism is a threat to domestic security. We need to focus on real threats verses trying to constantly divide the nation based on our skin color.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Provide national security, law enforcement and provide functions that the private sector can not. I support limited government as intended by our founding fathers; a government that is limited. Our government seems to have forgotten that the Constitution was written to protect the people and remind the government of their limitations, not the other way around. That philosophy seems to be forgotten in today's world.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I never know how people label certain issues but I am a strong conservative with backbone. We need courage and conviction in today's world of politics. I believe that we need conservatives who know how to disagree without dishonor and speak truth to power.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am a political outsider and a mom on a mission. I am running because I believe we need conservatives with backbone who want to build a strong Louisiana with the next generation in mind. We need elected officials who understand what the role of government is and what it's NOT. We need to encourage strong family values so that we can shift the moral crisis we have in our country. We are at a critical time and we need serious leaders who will focus on education and make sure the money follows the child. We must support parental rights and empower teachers. I am a strong supporter of introducing high school students to skilled trades and make sure they are ready to enter the workforce if they don't attend a 4-year degree program. I support low taxes and less government control in business. We have a lot of work to do if we are going to stop people from leaving our great state.

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
