QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Never. I am Pro-Life, without exception
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Louisiana's tax code needs to be re-worked to attract more business and industry! Make it more business friendly!
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would limit money to non-governmental organizations. We also need to make infrastructure spending more of a priority, as our traffic congestion is deplorable and we need another bridge in BR.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never. This should Never happen. It did in Covid, while abortion clinics and casinos stayed open. I can never support closing our Churches! This State and our Country needs God more than ever! We should always have a right to worship!
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
I think health care should be provided for those who need safety nets and temporary help. No one should do without. But overall, I believe is the responsibility of each individual.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. Especially after the tyrannical raids during the pandemic.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
I believe Palestinians should be treated with respect. However, Israel is a sovereign nation. It's not our business to interfere in their rights or affairs.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We as a Republic get to decide who comes here legally, by those who want to become legal citizens. This process is done thru elected officials. This is our Nation, we get to make the rules.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a Holy Sacrament between a man and a woman.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am Catholic. I believe in God, the Father Almighty. Creator of Heaven and Earth. And, in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord. Who was s conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate. Was crucified, died and was buried , on the third day he rose again & ascended into Heaven. He is seated at the Right Hand of the Father and will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
The voter rolls have to be well-maintained and accurate. We must always have strict Photo- ID requirements
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes, because it can cause wide-spread division. I believe it's used as a weapon of destruction to cause unnecessary division and hate.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. We must try to protect the environment, but we cannot sacrifice our liberties by those who want to cause us harm. We need a good balance.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To ensure the freedoms and liberties of our people and to secure our borders. The Government was created by the States, the States were created by the people.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
For ex. I was the Only Person, elected or otherwise who publicly spoke out against a new tax in Livingston Parish for March, 2023. It was presented as a teacher pay raise, but a tax should only be a last resort, not a band aid. I was the sole voice of 'we the people" who voted it down by more than 59 percent of the vote.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Never.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am a Pro-life, Pro 2nd Amendment, Conservative Republican who will fight for Faith, Families and our Freedoms. I believe in transparency and public service, striving to unite, working to ensure trust, and to put Louisiana back on top by helping attract business and industry here to keep our graduates and our children in Louisiana and not trailing behind our Southern Counterparts.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
To the greatest extent possible, we must protect our law enforcers and first responders. I believe we have laws in place to discipline criminal behavior.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Neutral
I would need data and evidence. We are not a one-size fits all state.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I fully support Our Second Amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Gambling should be limited to existing forms and should not be de-regulated or expanded.
Agree
Children should be protected from sexualization on the internet, in public schools, and in the public libraries
Strongly Agree
Always!
