QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Individuals should have the autonomy to make decisions about their own bodies and reproductive health.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants and Medicaid funding).

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I am in favor of a more progressive tax system, where higher-income individuals pay a higher percentage of their income in taxes. This can be achieved by raising income tax rates on the wealthy or implementing additional tax brackets for very high incomes with the goal to reduce income inequality and ensure that those with higher incomes contribute a fair share to government revenues.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

It's important to note that the choice of which government spending areas to reduce should be made with careful consideration of the potential impact on the economy, social services, and vulnerable populations. Ultimately, budget balancing efforts should be guided by a comprehensive assessment of the total fiscal situation, economic priorities, and the well-being of citizens. Public input, transparency, and accountability in the budgetary process are crucial to ensure that reductions in government spending are made in a fair and responsible manner.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Under what circumstances should government close churches?
