QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The Texas property tax is immoral and unjustly applied. People should not have to pay rent to the government to keep their homes. People should not be taxed on unrealized gains of their property increasing in value. And we should not disincentivize people from making improvements to their property.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The Texas budget is balanced. However, the last legislative session was the most expensive in Texas history. The legislature should have given more money back to the taxpayers.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
While the government has a role in funding education, increased government spending has not improved educational outcomes. Our economy needs tradesmen and skilled laborers. The state has a role in ensuring that its state universities are affordable, but it can do that through spending controls rather than taxpayer subsidies.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Religious freedom is one of the founding values of our country and one of the most important rights the government was established to protect.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
D - Healthcare costs have skyrocketed since the government began subsidizing it, and every "fix" that has been instituted only makes healthcare less affordable. The government should eliminate impediments to free market solutions and incentivize private and non-profit safety nets for poor and indigent patients.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Did not answer
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
A nation without borders will cease to be a nation. America is and should be a welcoming Land of Opportunity, but as a nation, we must know who we’re giving those opportunities to and ensure that we are able to safely welcome them into our communities and neighborhoods. Instead, our broken border is an attack on our communities' safety and our nation's sovereignty.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People seeking freedom and opportunity from all nations should be welcomed, provided that they are healthy, able-bodied, and demonstrate skills that will allow them to survive and thrive in America. Even so, the numbers of immigrants need to be controlled in a manner to allow assimilation into American culture and values.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Parents are responsible for the education of their children. My children have been educated in public school, Christian school, charter school, and home school, depending on the specific needs of each child at the time as determined by their mother and me. All parents should have the ability to make the same decisions for their children, regardless of their financial situation. The government should fund education, not direct it. That is the parents' sole responsibility.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe there is one true, creator God, who made all things and holds all things together. He revealed Himself and His divine plan for humankind through the inerrant, inspired Holy Scriptures. In the Bible we learn that all men have sinned, and as a result of that sin we are separated from God and destined for death. But because of His great mercy and love, He sent His only son, Jesus, to earth to live as a man and take upon Himself the punishment for our sins, death, and then He raised Him up on the third day, just as He promised. One day, every person will stand in judgment before God and will either experience the full wrath they are owed for all of their sins or eternal glory because of the gift of salvation earned by Jesus.
No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent unless an emergency situation arises risking immediate death.
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would reduce the number of voting days and improve the chain of custody between the voting booth, precincts, counties, and the Secretary of State so that every election could be easily audited. It's important that our election results are true and accurate, but just as important that the public can trust them.
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Critical Race Theory is fundamentally racist because it ascribes value based on race.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
All hate is a threat to security and safety, but racism as a threat is way overblown by the media today.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A - Much of the environmental laws and regulations seem to be more designed to create burden on industry than to protect the environment.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To protect man's God-given rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The government should be a terror to evil doers and a blessing to those who do good. (Romans 13:3)
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My top priorities are: Securing the Border Property Tax Reduction (and a path toward elimination) School Choice Abolition of Abortion
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
