OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should be safe and rare... in the instances where the baby is viable we should not have to terminate the life
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
i would never want governments being able to make that decision for an individual....
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
i would like to see the new tax income from casinos and marijuana industries to be used to buy down current state and local taxes and not treated as new spending... i would establish a rainy day fund cap that the budget cant go over and return all funds above that limit back to the tax payers annually in tax returns
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
i would rather stimulate growth in new industries and generate more revenue to balance the budget than cut services and programs that are needed and provide for the community. i would like to implement a sunset clause on all new spending to where they will need oversite and transparency in the future to continue funding. i would help unleash the private sector and encourage small business development to create new willing taxable funds. the more private and small business's thrive the easier it will be to fund and balance the budget
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
college is not for everyone.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
federal law states, private businesses have the legal right to refuse service to anyone . this right is not absolute, there are limits to the right to refuse service, and businesses must follow specific rules and regulations to avoid discrimination.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
The government should not be able to force any non government entity to close. the government is supposed to work for the people and not against them. the constitution grants the right to practice and the protections against prohibiting the free exercise of religion
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
respect is a two way street. until there is mutual respect on both sides nothing is gonna change. protect and tighten Americas boarders will do the most to protect the nation against attacks. revisit the diplomacy table in the middle east and bring all Muslim nations to the table to help find common ground to help all religions live together peacefully and prosperously
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
this is a federal issue im running for the state delegate
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree

EDUCATION

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
American oil and gas are some of the cleanest and safest produced in the world. the less we produce in a clean environmental fashion the more other countries will have to produce in a less eco friendly fashion. the demand for oil and gas isn't going anywhere anytime soon. we need to own our energy independence and do it in safe and environmentally friendly way here in America.
