OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, Incest, Mothers Life, and other situations on a case by case basis. We need to make sure anyone pregnant has all the choices, resources and support to make important choices going forward. As a child of adoption, I full support improving adoption programs and support for families adopting and wishing to adopt

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

Support of primary care doctors should be given support to take care of medical needs, keep federal and state money from specialists in this situation but working more closely with primary care medical care

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

More studies and considerations should be made. More questions than answers when it comes to who is able to make these choices, what considerations need to be considered

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Flat tax, support less burdens on taxpayers

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Tax cuts for billionaires and other subsides, support tax cuts for lower end

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Agree

We do to reduce rhe financial burden on instate tuition

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

Depending on the type of services provided, it can go either way as long as rights are not violated depending on services

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

According to the constitution, it should not be permitted

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

FDA approved and not emergency use vaccines

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Understand the religion, beliefs and support a strong federal national defense

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

More of a federal position and not a state , House of Delegates position

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Agree

Illegal immigration should be controlled and deported. More tracking should be done.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Legal immigration policies should be easier to obtain and illegal immigration should be restricted and rights to come back limited if you break out immigration laws

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Choices in education should be provided to the parents

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

Any and all morality based support is important for all religions

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

More information needs to be considered about this subject. We should not be permitted to discriminate against anyone period

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

I agree that marriage traditionally is between a man and a women by church and religious beliefs. But no one should be denied marriage in Virginia based on who they choose to love. There are other places to marry legally even if the church doesn't agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and I do believe in God. I want to make sure we are respectful to all religions and understand our differences for the greater good

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

We need an ID to go to the bank, to buy cigarettes, buy alcohol, make financial transactions, buy a gun, board an airplane, etc. We need a photo ID to do all things over the age of 18 and voting should be no different. We all have a form of ID and that should be common sense to protect our vote.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Protect Voting Rights by enhancing the integrity of the vote. We have to support fair elections , better training and easier access to voting integrity

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

We should teach all history good and bad, but teaching that we are inherently one sided racist is just not good. We can and will learn from the mistakes of the past as we move forward. We have to teach we are an evolving group and the process allows us to get better and move forward

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It's a problem that can be applied to both sides. Everyone should be protected from

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Any action on the basis of race should not be supported

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. We should provide incentives but not mandate regulations

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

We should consider any and all resources to protect the consumers of high energy costs. We need solutions today to solve today's problems

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government should support the citizens and protect personal freedom

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

Common sense conservative based values that support bipartisan solutions

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Spotify, Interviews with Mike Van Meter and Jeff Katz Show.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I will support bipartisan solutions that include input form the community. I am only as good as the people I represent. To not consider all constituents input regardless if they voted for me or not would be failed representation if I don't listen and form positions based off their input

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

If followed protocol and determined proper action was taken, absolutely they deserve our support

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Neutral

Mental health is a problem that needs to be addressed but I do not see taking away support of the police department to fund is the right solution. We should be able to support programs within the department and other mental health programs across the board.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Background checks, mental health checks, common sense

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

Unless there was a manufacturing default that was negligence, then no- the person behind the trigger should be liable
